Eco-Faunistic Studies on the Macroheterocera Species in Şirvan District of Siirt (Lepidoptera)

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında, Siirt'in Şirvan ilçesinin Macroheterocera faunası ve ekolojisi araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, 2011-2013 yıllarının mart-kasım ayları arasında gece-gündüz yürütülen arazi çalışmalarında toplanan örneklerle birlikte tez çalışmaları öncesinde (2008-2010) elde edilen bir miktar örnek değerlendirilmiştir. Bölgedeki bitki örtüsüne bağlı olarak belirlenen 14 farklı habitattan toplam 9330 örnek toplanmıştır. Bu habitatlarda, 16 familya içerisinde tespit edilen 538 taksonun 510'u tür, 25'i cins ve 3'ü altfamilya düzeyinde teşhis edilmiştir. Tespit edilen taksonlardan, 433 tür Şirvan ilçesi faunası, 357 tür Siirt ili faunası ve Paidia rica (Arctiidae), Dasypolia timoi, Dichagyris iranicola, Dryobotodes glaucus ve Eublemma cochylioides (Noctuidae) türleri ile Ramitia (Geometridae) cinsi Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıt olmuştur. Tespit edilen her türün dünyadaki yayılışı, Türkiye'deki yayılışı, habitatı, fenolojisi, dikey yayılışı, etiket bilgileri verilmiş ve bazı taksonomik notlar değerlendirilerek tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca bölgenin coğrafik, jeolojik yapısı ve bitki örtüsü hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

In this study, fauna and ecology of Macroheterocera of Şirvan district (Siirt) were investigated. The samples collected at the field work by day and night during march to november 2011-2013 were evaluated in the study as well as some other samples that have been obtained (between 2008-2010) prior to the thesis. 9330 samples were collected in 14 different habitat types depending on determined vegetation. In these habitats, 510 of 538 taxa detected in 16 families were identified at the level of species, 25 of it as genus-level and 3 of it were identified as subfamily-level. 433 species for the fauna of Şirvan region, 357 species for the fauna of the Siirt province and Paidia rica (Arctiidae), Dasypolia timoi, Dichagyris iranicola, Dryobotodes glaucus and Eublemma cochylioides (Noctuidae) species with Ramitia (Geometridae) genus for the fauna of Turkey have been new record in which the taxa identified in the field research. Each identified species were evaluated and discussed about dispersal around the world, widespread in Turkey, habitat, phenology, vertical distribution, label information and some taxonomic notes. Furthermore, information about geographical, geological structure and vegetation of the region are given.
