Efqm Excellence Model in Higher Education

Abstract

İnsanların kendilerini ifade edebilme kabiliyetlerini arttıran ve çağdaş bir toplum düzeni sağlamada etkin bir rol üstlenen eğitim, geçmişten bugüne gerekli görülen her alanda uygulanan temel hizmet faaliyetleridir. Bu hizmet faaliyetleri kurumsal ve kurumsal olmayan yönetimlerin çabaları ve imkanları sayesinde insanlara sunulmaktadır. Sunulan bu eğitim faaliyetlerinin optimal fayda sağlayabilmesi için kaliteli bir eğitim hizmeti gerektirmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışma EFQM Mükemmellik Modeli uygulanarak Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi'nin sunduğu eğitim hizmetlerini değerlendirmek üzere gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma 3 bölümden oluşturulmuştur. İlk bölümde kalite ve hizmet kalitesi alanında bilgiler sunulurken ikinci bölümde EFQM Mükemmellik Modeli hakkında genel geçer bilgiler sunulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise üniversitenin eğitim hizmet kalitesini ölçmek üzere yapılan anket uygulamalarının analizleri yapılmış ve gerekli değerlendirmeler ve sonuçlar belirtilmiştir. Sunulan eğitim hizmetlerinin kalitesini ölçmek için modele ait dokuz kriter, eğitim hizmetlerinden faydalanan öğrencilerin ve eğitime katkı sunan fakülte yöneticilerinin değerlendirme yapabilecekleri şekilde bölümlere ayrılmıştır. Elde edilen anket verileri analiz edilerek uygun değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır.

Education, which enhances the ability of people to express themselves and plays an active role in ensuring a modern society, is the basic service activity that is applied to every field that is needed from the past to the present. These service activities are offered to people through the efforts and facilities of institutional and non-institutional governments. In order to provide optimal benefits for these training activities, it is necessary to provide a quality education service. This study was carried out to evaluate the educational services offered by Van Yüzüncü Yıl University by applying EFQM Excellence Model. The study is composed of 3 chapters. While the first section provides information on quality and service quality, the second section provides general information about the EFQM Excellence Model. In the third part, the analysis of the questionnaires conducted to measure the quality of the education service of the university was carried out and the necessary evaluations and results were given. In order to measure the quality of the educational services offered, nine benchmarking criteria are divided into sections so that students benefiting from the education services and faculty managers contributing to the education can make evaluations. The obtained questionnaire data were analyzed and appropriate evaluations were made.
