Kompost,üzerinde kültür mantarı (Agaricus bisporus ) yetiştirilen bir materyaldir.Bu çalışmada, kompost reçetelerinin optimizasyonu amacıyla matematiksel birmodel olan doğrusal programlama modeli kullanılmıştır.Piyasada kullanılan yirmi kompost reçetesi doğrusal programlama ilemodellenerek, simpleks yöntem ile çözümlenmiştir.
