A Proposal of a Notating Model for Finger Tapping Technique in Baglama Training

Abstract

Yüksek lisans tezi olarak hazırlanan bu çalışmada, bağlama eğitiminde parmak vurma tekniğine yönelik notalama model önerisi sunulmuştur. Bağlamanın günümüzde müzik eğitimi veren bütün kurumlarda öğretilmesi, tezenesiz (şelpe) icra biçiminin yaygınlaşması ve parmak vurma tekniğinin diğer şelpe çalma tekniklerinden farklı bir şekilde icra edilmesi bu çalışmanın temelini oluşturmuştur. Araştırma kapsamında şelpe tekniği notasyonunun içinde yer aldığı ve Erol Parlak tarafından yazılmış olan 'Şelpe Tekniği Metodu 1' metot kitabı ile Arif Sağ-Erdal Erzincan tarafından yazılmış olan 'Bağlama Metodu' adlı metot kitapları incelenmiştir. Bu metot kitaplarında yer alan transkripsiyon, sembol ve işaretler araştırmacı tarafından önerilen notalama modeline uyarlanmış ve bu kapsamda çift porte yazım şekline geçilmiştir. Piyano çalgısının notalama sistemiyle benzer özellikleri olan bu model ile birlikte, şelpe tekniği notasyonuna yönelik farklı bir bakış açısı kazandırmak hedeflenmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmanın kapsamını ve içeriğini tüm hatlarıyla ifade edecek etüt ve alıştırmalar hazırlanarak model; yapısı, niteliği ve uygulanabilirliği açısından değişik üniversitelerde görev yapmakta olan bağlama eğitimcilerinin görüşlerine sunulmuştur. Araştırma, bu yönüyle nitel bir çalışmadır. Elde edilen veriler neticesinde; oluşturulan notalama modelinin anlaşılır ve uygulanabilir olduğu, eğitim aşamasında ise bu modelin belirli bir sistem içerisinde sürece yayılarak uygulanması ve eksiklerinin tamamlanması gerektiği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca önerilen modelin, diğer şelpe çalım şekillerinden olan tel çekme ve pençe vurma tekniğiyle birlikte kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alınıp metot haline getirilmesinin de bu alana farklı bir bakış açısı getireceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, which was prepared as a master's thesis, a notation model proposal for finger tapping technique in baglama education was presented. The fact that baglama is taught in all music education institutions today and widespread use of selpe technique which means playing baglama without plectrum and the fact that finger tapping technique is performed differently from other selpe playing techniques has formed the basis of this study. Within the scope of the research, the method book 'Selpe Technique Method 1', including the notation of the shelpe technique, written by Erol Parlak and the method book 'Bağlama Method' written by Arif Sağ-Erdal Erzincan, were examined. Transcription, symbols and signs in these method books were adapted to the notation model suggested by the researcher, and in this context, the double-portrait writing style was adopted. With this model, which has similar features with the notation system of the piano instrument, it is aimed to gain a different perspective on the notation of the selpe technique. In addition, studies and exercises were prepared to express the scope and content of the study in all its lines, and the new model was presented to the opinions of baglama educators working in different universities in terms of its structure, quality and applicability. In this respect, the research is a qualitative study. As a result of the data obtained; It has been concluded that the notation model created is understandable and applicable, and that this model should be applied by spreading over time in a certain system and its deficiencies should be completed during the training phase. In addition, it has been concluded that methodizing the new model by taking widely the wire drawing and claw striking techniques of selpe playing style will bring a different perspective to this field.
