dc.description.abstract ar-Rummani occupies a very important place in Arabic grammar works. He was closely interested in Greek logic, and wanted to apply what he had learnt to the other religious sciences, notably to the linguistics works. So, he was blamed. "al-Hudud" is one of his books that shows us his interest in logic. He emphasized that some terms which were used in grammar needed to be defined and so he decided to define some of them. So, in terms of both its content and method, the book is the first among the Arabic grammar works. en_US
