Actions of Cezmi Türk in the Turkish Grand Assembly

Abstract

Prof. Dr. Cezmi Türk, 9. Dönem Seyhan milletvekili olarak DP'den seçilmiş daha sonra kurulan Türkiye Köylü Partisi (TKP) içinde aktif siyaset izlemiştir. Milliyetçi çizgisiyle Anadolu köylüsünün ve Çukurova bölgesinde yaşayanların sağlık, ekonomi, eğitim ve birçok alanda takipçisi olmuş Türk siyasetinde; bir siyasi lider, bir ideoloji etrafında değil de halkın sorunlarıyla gerçekçi şekilde ilgilenen bir vekil olmuştur. Türk, mesleki açıdan doktor olmasına rağmen öğretmenlik de yapmış toplumu ilgilendiren her alanda birtakım uğraşları olmuştur. Yazığı eserlerinde yaşadığı dönemin önemli meselelerinden biri olan komünizme de değinmiş Türk gençlerini bu tehlikeye karşı uyarmıştır. Türk, 1950 seçimlerinden kısa bir süre sonra iktidarla ters düşmüş Anadoluculuk ekseninde yer alan Remzi Oğuz Arık'ın önderliğinde kurulan Türkiye Köylü Partisine katılmıştır. Türk köylüsünün Seyhan bölgesindeki sesi olmaya çalışmış ülke kalkınmasının ancak güçlü bir ekonomi politikasıyla sağlanabileceğini savunmuştur. Ülkedeki en önemli sorunlar arasında olan toprak sorunu sürekli ile getirerek Ziraat Politikasına ağırlık vermiş Millî bir ekonomi sistemini kurulmasını amaçlamıştır. Türk'ün hayatını incelerken onun memleket içindeki yerini meclise sunduğu teklifleri ve bu tekliflerin mecliste yaptığı etkileri de inceleyeceğiz. Çok Partili dönemin en hararetli döneminde Cezmi Türk, siyasi hayata renk katmış parti içinde sözlerini geri çekmeyen tavrıyla parti içinde tartışmaların odağı haline gelmiş olduğunu göreceğiz.

Cezmi Türk was elected from the DP as the 9th Term Seyhan Deputy and carried out active politics within the TKP, which was established later. With his nationalist line as an Anatolian villager he has been a follower of those living in the Çukurova region in health, economy, education and many other fields. As a politic leader in Turkish politics, he became a proxy, not around an ideology, but realistically dealing with the problems of people there. Although he was a doctor professionally, he also worked as a teacher and had a number of efforts in every field ol intesests to society. Turk, clashed with with the goverment short ofter the 1950 elections so he joined the peasant's party which was on Anatolions Axis and was established under the leadership of Remzi Oğuz ARIK. Türk who said that the was trying to follow an objective policy when he was a deputy of Seyhan in the 9th period, also supported some of the efforts of the Government he tired to be voice of the Turkish Villagers in the Seyhan region, and argued that the country's economy can only be achieved with a strong economic policy. He aimed to establish a national economic system by focusing on agricultural policy. While examining the life of Turk, we will also examine his place in the country, his proposals the to Assembly and the effects of these proposals on the parliament. İn the hottest period of the multi parties time we will see that Türk has enlivened the political life and has become the focus of discussions in the party with his attitude that doesn't hesitate his words to some people in the party
