A Study on the Weed Control in Lentil (Lens Culinaris) in Van

Abstract

Van ekolojik koşullarında mercimekte önemli ölçüde zararlı olduğu bilinen yabancı otlarla en iyi mücadele yöntemini belirlemek amacıyla 1998- 99 yıllarında iki yıllık olarak yürütülmüştür. Denemede yöreye iyi adapte olduğu bilinen Sazak 91 çeşidi kullanılmıştır. Mücadele yöntemleri olarak çapalama, Trifluralin, Linuron, Prometryn, Phenmedhiphame+desmedhiphame, Trifluralin+çapa ve Linuron+çapa uygulamaları denenmiş, bunlardan elde edilen sonuçlar otlu ve otsuz kontrollerle kıyaslanmıştır. Sonuçta, en yüksek verim otsuz kontrolde (elle mücadele) elde edilmiştir. Yöntemler içinde en etkili yabancı ot kontrolü ve bununla birlikte en yüksek verim Prometryn, Linuron+çapa ve Tifluralin+çapa uygulamalarından elde edilmiştir. Bunun yanmda, tek basma Trifluralin ve phenmedhiphame+desmedhiphame uygulamalarından başarılı sonuçlar alınamamıştır. A study was carried out in 1998-1999 years to determine the most effective treatments of weed control as known significantly damaged on the lentils in Van ecological conditions in the experiment has been used Sazak 91 cultivar Which adapted to weed control such as hand hoeing, Trifluralin, Trifluralin+hand hoeing, Linuron, Linuron+hand hoeing, Prometryn and Phenmedhiphame+Desmedhiphame. The results obtained from these treatments have been compared with treatments of weedy and unweedy control. In the result the highest grain yield has been obtained from treatment of unweeding control. The highest grain yield together the most effective weed control has been obtained from treatments of Prometryn, Linuron+hand hoeing and Trifluralin+hand hoeing in which were tested treatments. However, alone treatments of Trifluralin or Phenmedhiphame+Desmedhiphame have not been able to produce successful results.Key words: Weed(s), lentils, Lens culinaris, weed control, herbicides in
