Abstract

Tarih Çalışmalarına Kaynak Olarak Hürriyet Gazetesinde Kıbrıs Sorunu (1974-1980) adlı bu çalışmamızda 1950'li yıllardan sonra Türkiye gündeminde önemli bir yer tutan Kıbrıs Sorunu Türk basınında önemli bir yere sahip olan Hürriyet gazetesinde nasıl yer edindiği bilimsel bir bakış açısıyla ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu tez çalışması giriş, iki ana bölüm ve sonuç kısımlarından oluşmaktadır. Kıbrıs sorununun nereden kaynaklandığı ve nasıl ortaya çıktığını ana hatlarıyla ortaya koymak amacıyla giriş bölümünde; tez konumuzun başladığı tarihe (1974) kadar ki gelişmeler ele alınmıştır.Tez konusunu oluşturan ?Hürriyet? gazetesinde Kıbrıs ile ilgili haberleri gün, ay ve yıl olarak Birinci Bölüm'de özetlenmiştir. İkinci Bölümde ise Hürriyet gazetesinde yer alan Kıbrıs Sorunu ile ilgili makale ve köşe yazıları incelenerek özetlenmiştir. Bu haber ve köşe yazıları 1974-1980 yılları arasını kapsamaktadır.Sonuç bölümünde ise Kıbrıs Sorunu ile ilgili Hürriyet gazetesinde çıkan haber ve köşe yazılarının genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılarak, gazetenin Kıbrıs Sorununa bakış açısı ortaya çıkarılmasına çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca okuyucuya kolaylık sağlamak amacıyla haber ve köşe yazılarının gün, ay ve yıla göre indeksi hazırlanarak çalışmaya eklenmiştir.

In this study which is called ?The Issue of Cyprus in Hurriyet Journat as source to history studies (1974-1980) ? it was aimed to deal with how the Issue of Cyprus which had on important place in Turkey?s agenda after 1950s was couered in Hurriyet Journal which had an important place in Turkey?s media with a scientific poin of view.This thesis study consists on introduction part, two main parts and a conclusion part In introduction part developments until the beginning of our thesis subject (1974) were studiedin detail in order to uncover where the lssue of Cyprus come drom and how it emerged.In the firsr part news about Cprrus in Hurriyet Journal -the subjekt of thesis- was summarized as day, month and year. In the second part essays and columns about the Issue of Cyprus in Hurriyet Journal were examined and summarized. There news and columns are between the years 1974-1980In conclusion part, a general evaluation of news and columns in Hurriyet Journal about the Issue of Cyprus was made and it was tried to determine He view of the Jornal towards the lssue of Cyprus. Moreover, the indexes of news and column, were prepared as day month and yana and added tu the study tu rovide eosines, to the readers.
