In the Philosophy of Fahreddin Râzi Human and Competence

Abstract

Râzî, on ikinci asrın en önemli ansiklopedik simalarındandır. Râzî düşüncesinde insan, çok yönlü bir varlık olup sufli âlemde en müstesna bir yerde bulunur. İnsana yeryüzünü ıslah ve imar etme görevi verilmiştir. Dolayısıyla insan sorumluluk sahibi kılınarak onurlandırılmıştır. İşte biz insanın bu sorumluluğunu nasıl gerçekleştireceğini tespit ettik.Nefis (ruh), manevi bir cevherdir. Herkesin `ben' dediği şeydir. Nefsin kendisine özgü olan canlılığını Tanrı vermiştir. Nefis, etkinliklerini gerçekleştirebilmek için bedene muhtaçtır. İnsani nefsin üç temel gücü vardır: şehvet, gazap, düşünce. Düşünce bu güçlerin başkanıdır.Râzî'nin ahlâkında Tanrı her şeyin belirleyicisidir. Eylemler belli bir amaçla yapılır. Bu amaç kesinlikle haz değildir. Amaç Tanrı'nın rızasını kazanmaktır. Râzî'nin ahlâkı karakter arındırılması üzerine kurulmuştur.Râzî'de bilgi kaynakları; akıl, duyular ve haberdir. Bunlardan en önemlisi haberdir.İyilik ve kötülüğün kaynağı dindir. Yani Tanrı'nın buyrukları iyi ve kötüyü belirlemiştir.Yetkinlik erdemdir. İnsan yetkinliğe, nefsin noksanlıklardan arındırarak başlamalıdır.
