Imâm kastallânî and sufîsm

Abstract

Mutasavvıf ve âlim bir şahsiyet olan, Ebû Bekr Kutbüddîn Muhammed b. Ahmed b. Alî el-Kastallânî (ö. 686/1287), 614 yılında Mısır'da doğdu. 614-686/1218-1287 tarihleri arasında Mısır ve Mekke'de yaşamış hadis, fıkıh ve tasavvuf alanında önemli bir âlimdir. İlk eğitimini babası, Ahmed b. Ali b. Muhammed Ebu'l-Abbas Kastallânî'nin yanında almış daha sonra Mekke'de eğitimine devam etmiştir. Kardeşinin vefatından sonra Darü'l-Hadisi Kamile'nin şeyhliğine getirilen İmâm Kastallânî, ömrünü sonuna kadar orada eğitim vermiştir. Yaklaşık olarak otuz altı eseri vardır. Zâhiri ilimlerde daha çok bilinen İmâm Kastallânî, tasavvufî yönüyle pek bilinmemektedir. Oysa mutasavvıf bir şahsiyet olan müellifîmiz, tasavvufa dair eserler de yazmıştır. Nitekim 'İktidâ'ü'l-ğâfîl bi-ihtidâi'l-âkil', adlı eserini tasavvuf alanında yazmıştır. Müellifîmiz bu eseri iki kısımda ele almış ve tasavvufî kavramlar hakkında bilgiler vermiştir. Çalışmamız iki bölümden oluşmuş olup, birinci bölümü İmâm Kastallânî'nin hayatı, şahsiyeti, târîkatı ve eserlerinden oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölümde ise İmâm Kastallânî'nin tasavvufî görüşlerini kapsamaktadır. Ele aldığımız bu çalışmamızda İmâm Kastallânî'nin, yazdığı eserleri ve görüşleri sonrası âlim ve mutasavvıf bir kimliğe sahip olduğu görüldü. Sühreverdîyye târîkatına mensup olduğu tespit edildi. Sonuç olarak, İmâm Kastallânî, âlim ve mutasavvıf bir şahsiyet olup geride bırakmış olduğu eserleri islâm toplumuna faydalar sağlamıştır.

Sufî and scholar Abu Bakr Qutbuddin Mohammed b. Ahmed b. Alî al-Kastallânî (d. 686/1287) was born in 614, Egypt. Between the years 614-686 / 1218-1287 he had lived in Egypt and Mekka, and he is an important scholar in the fîeld of hadith, fîqh and mysticism. He received his fîrst education from his father, Ahmed b. Ali b. He took Muhammad Abu'l-Abbas with Kastallânî and continued his education in Mekka. Imam Kastallânî, who was brought to the Sheikh of Darü'l-Hadith Kamileye after the death of his brother, taught there until the end of his life. He has about thirty-six works. Imam Kastallânî, which is more known in zahiri sciences, is not known in terms of Sufîsm. However, Kastallânî, who is a sufî personality, has also written works about Sufîsm. The most important work in the fîeld of Sufîsm, which he deals with İktidâ'ü'l-Gafîl bi-İhtidai'l-Âkil. He discussed in two parts and gave information about Sufîsm concepts. Our study consists of two chapters and the fîrst part consists of the life, personality, sect and works of Imam Kastallânî. In the second part, it covers the Sufî views of Imam Kastallânî. In this study, we have seen that Imam Kastallânî has a scholarly and sufî identity after his writings and views. We found that he belonged to the Suhreverdiyya sect. As a result, Imam Kastallânî is a scholar and a sufî personality, and his works left behind has provided benefîts to İslâmic society.
