Examination of Physical Education and Sports Teachers' Anxiety About Catching New Type of Coronavirus and Their Motivation Levels of Participation in Physical Activity

Abstract
Bu çalışmamızda Van ilinde görev yapan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin yeni tip korona virüse (covid-19) yakalanma kaygısı ve fiziksel aktiviteye katılım motivasyonu arasındaki ilişkinin irdelenmesi amacıyla hazırlanmış olup Evrenini; Van'da görev yapan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi ise aynı ilde görev yapan İpekyolu, Edremit ve Tuşba ilçelerindeki 221 öğretmen gönüllülük esasına dayanarak ankete tabi tutulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmamızda elde edilen veriler ışığında SYBDÖ toplam puanın fiziksel aktivite ye etkileriyle p<0,05 düzeyinde anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak spor yapan, düzenli egzersiz yapan, hareketli yaşam tarzı benimseyen öğretmenlerin yeni tip korona virüse (covid-19) yakalanma kaygısının az olduğu görülmüştür.
This study was prepared in order to analyze the link between the anxiety of catching the new type of corona virus (covid-19) and the motivation of participating in physical activity of physical education and sports teachers working in the province of Van. It consists of physical education and sports teachers working in Van. In the sample, 221 teachers from İpekyolu, Edremit and Tusba districts working in the same province were surveyed on a voluntary basis. The data that were obtained were analyzed in SPSS 22 package program. In the light of the data obtained in our study, significant differences were found at p<0.05 level with the effects of HPLSP (Health Promotion Life Style Profile) total score on physical activity. As a result, it has been observed that teachers who do sports exercise regularly and adopt a dynamic lifestyle have less anxiety about getting a new type of corona virus (covid-19).
