Godless Morality and Criticism
Abstract
The word morality is the plural of the Arabic word 'hulk', and the Turkish equivalent of the word means temperament, nature, religion. The concept of morality has been studied in many areas from past to present and has preserved its dynamics. The reason for this is that this concept has continued to exist as an important and decisive factor in human life since the existence of mankind. It is seen that the concept of morality, which is the subject of fields such as philosophy in general, moral philosophy and philosophy of religion in particular, has been examined in philosophy mostly on the basis of the problems of morality. There are different categorizations related to the grounding of morality. But in terms of our subject, we will try to examine the foundation of morality as godless, with moral approaches based on religion and moral approaches without religion. The aim and message of our study will be to emphasize that morality cannot be grounded without God and to reveal the contradictions on this subject.
