Flatweaves in Malatya Museum

Abstract

Malatya Müzesinde Bulunan Düz Dokumalar? olarak hazırlamış olduğumuz bu çalışmada, ilgili müzede yer alan seksen bir adet düz dokuma örneği ele alınmıştır.Bilindiği gibi düz dokumalar, havlı dokumalar dışında kalan, enine ve dikey, iki veya daha çok iplik grubunun birbirlerinin arasından farklı şekillerde geçirilmesiyle ortaya çıkarılan ve kilim, cicim, zili, sumak olarak adlandırılan yaygı türleridir.Müze koleksiyonunda yer alan ve envanter kayıtlarından da anlaşıldığı gibi farklı yörelerden satın alma yoluyla müzeye kazandırılmış bu örnekler arasında; kilim, cicim, zili, sumak teknikleriyle yapılmış tabanlar, heybeler, çuvallar, yastıklar, seccadeler, yolluklar, sofralıklar yer almaktadır.Tez kapsamında bu dokumalar, genel anlamda, tanımları, yapılış şekilleri ve kompozisyon özellikleri gibi yönlerden ayrıntılı bir şekilde verildikten sonra, ilgili koleksiyonda yer alan örnekler, katalog düzeninde ele alınarak, cins, malzeme, renk, ebat, motif ve kompozisyon yönleriyle tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır.Değerlendirme ve karşılaştırma bölümünde ise, incelenen örnekler, yukarıda belirtmiş olduğumuz yönler açısından farklı yörelere ait düz dokumalarla kıyaslanmış ve bu dokumaların Anadolu dokumaları içindeki yeri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.Çalışmamızın son kısmını ise, çalışma kapsamında incelenmiş olan literatürlerle ilgili bibliyografya ve dokuma terminolojisi kısmı ile tez konusunu içeren dokumaların çizimlerinden ve resimlerinden meydana getirilen levhalar kısmı oluşturmuştur.

In this study, called ?Flatweaves in Malatya Museum?; eight one flat weave models are considered that are located in the museum.The flat weaves, as it is known to be called, are the kinds of ground clothes which are different from towel weaves. They are revealed in lenght and breadth, two or more groups of thread are passed over differently among themselves and they are named as kilim, cicim, zili and sumak.Among these models, which are in the museum collection and as understood from the inventory enrollment, they are gained to the museum by the method of buying from different regions, there are large rugs, saddle bags, sacks, pillows, prayer rugs, table linens which are made with the technique of kilim, cicim, zili and sumak.In the scape of thesis, after making their detailed definitions, shapes and composition peculiarities, these weaves in general meaning are presented in the models which are in the related collection. They are considered in the order of the catalogue and presented in type, material, colour, dimensions, motf and ways of composition.In evaluation and comparison part, the examined models are compared with flat weaves which belong to different regions. This examination is made in the point of wiev that we explained clearly in the above past and the place of these weaves among Anatolia weaves is tried to be determined.The conclusion of our study is constituted with the bibliography and the weave terminology part which we examined in the extend of this study about literature and the signboard part which is formed with thesis subjects including the drawings and pictures of the documents.
