A Review of Poems According To Their Themes in Turkish Lesson Books in 2018 Secondary School Curriculum and an Evaluation About the Suitability of the Poems To the Achievements in the Program

Abstract

Şiir; ne bir düz yazı, ne de tek başına alt alta sıralanmış dizeler topluluğudur. Şiir; hayallerin, hüzünlerin, sevinçlerin ve fikirlerin ansızın bir pencereden taşıp sanata dönüştüğü bir varoluş sürecidir. Şiir, dizelerde yer alan seçilmiş kelimeler ve bu kelimeler arasındaki ses ve duygu uyumuyla çocuklara hem bir sanat zevki aşılamaktadır, hem de estetik bir bakış açısının temellerinin atılmasına yardımcı olmaktadır. Şiir öğretimi de bir tür olarak şiiri şekil ve içerik bakımından inceleyip onu var eden her unsuru anlamlandırmaya çalışır. Şiir öğretiminin temelinde tema, konu, içerik ve şekil özellikleri gibi ögelerin değerlendirilmesi vardır. Şiir öğretiminin en önemli işlevi; sanatsal ve estetik özellikli metinlere nasıl yaklaşılması gerektiği, hangi bakış açısıyla incelenmeye uygun olduğunu göstermektir. Türkçe ders kitaplarında öğretim programlarındaki kazanımlara ulaşmak için farklı türlerde metinler kullanılır. Şiir de ders kitaplarında yer alan türlerden birisidir. Şiir; duyguların ve hislerin tercümanı olan bir tür olduğu için, sadece edebi anlamda değil, öğretimde de büyük bir yer teşkil eder Bu çalışma, 2018- 2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında hazırlanan ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki şiirlerin tematik olarak incelemesi ve 2018 ilköğretim Türkçe dersi öğretim programındaki şiirle ilgili kazanımlara uygunluğunun belirlenmesi adına önemlidir. Ayrıca çalışmada, Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki şiirlerin tematik yapısını belirleme ve bu şiirlerin öğretim programındaki hangi kazanımlara ilişkili olduğunu belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, nitel bir araştırmayı kapsamaktadır. Ders kitaplarındaki şiirleri belirlemek ve 2018 TDÖP' deki şiirle ilgili kazanımları belirlemek için doküman inceleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Aynı zamanda ders kitaplarındaki şiirlerin tematik yapısını incelemek ve 2018 TDÖP' deki şiirle ilgili kazanımlarla ilişkisini belirlemek için içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda 2018- 2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında hazırlanan ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki şiir metinleri tematik olarak incelenmiştir. Şiirlerin tematik özellikleri taşıdığı ve 2018 TDÖP' de yer alan şiir ile ilgili kazanımlarla ilişkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.

In our country, each person who has reached the age of 7 years will be stepping into a sixteen-year educational adventure with the university period. The correct steps taken during this period and appropriate educational approaches contribute to the process by positively affecting the next teaching steps. From this point of view, a high quality and qualified teaching process becomes more important than the total duration of education. Primary Education Period; the acquisition of basic skills, being intertwined with life, encountering with literary and aesthetic pleasure, etc. Poetry; it is neither a plain font nor a string of strings sorted alone. Poetry; It is a process of existence in which dreams, sadness, joys and ideas suddenly move through a window and turn into art. Poetry, the selected words in the strings and the sound and emotion between these words in the children of a taste of art as well as to instill an aesthetic perspective helps to lay the foundation. Poetry teaching as a genre examines poetry in terms of form and content and tries to make sense of every element that makes it. The basis of the teaching of poetry is the evaluation of elements such as theme, subject, content and shape properties. The most important function of the teaching of poetry is to show how artistic and aesthetic texts should be approached. The aim of this study is to evaluate these poetry texts in terms of their suitability to the 2018 Turkish Curriculum after thematic examination of the poem texts in Turkish textbooks. As a result of the evaluations, poem texts in primary, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade textbooks were examined in relation to the achievements in Turkish Curriculum. In this study, it was determined that the suitability of the acquisitions varied from district to district and even from school to school within the same district. It is understood that such results are based on factors such as education, enviromental affects and family.
