Abstract
Yerel gazeteler, halk yaşamını çeşitli yönleriyle yansıtan ve toplumsal yaşama birçok yönden tanıklık eden tarihi vesikalardır. Haber, köşe yazısı, reklam ve ilanlara yansıyan içeriklerde halk yaşamında yer alan maddi ve manevi değerlerle ilgili çeşitli veriler barındırmaktadır. Gazeteler, bir yönüyle toplumun yansımasıdır. Sadece toplumun sosyal boyutunu, kültürünü yansıtmaz. Halk yaşamına dair kültür boyutunda geçirdiği evreleri, değişimleri anlatan olguları da yansıtır. Bu bağlamda çalışma, Van'da faaliyet gösteren, ilk sayısı Ekim 1957'de çıkan, İkinisan gazetesinin 1960'tan 1970'e kadar çıkan sayıları taranarak halk yaşamına dair yansımalarını tespit edip, analizini yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, halk yaşamını çeşitli yönleriyle ele almak amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda halkın sorunlarının neler olduğu bu sorunların yerel gazetelerde işlenişi yetkililerin bu problemlere yaklaşımı, halk için yapılan hizmetlerin gazetelerde işlenişi, bayramlar, kutlamalar, anma törenleri, halk eğlenceleri, gibi toplumsal ve kültürel değerler tespit edilmiş ve tespit edilen bu veriler halk bilimi çerçevesinde ele alınarak irdelenmiştir. İkinisan gazetesinin 1960-1970 yılları sayılarının haber, köşe yazısı, ilan ve reklam içeriklerinde karşılaşılan bilgi ve veriler Van'ın sosyal, ekonomik, kültürel ve kentsel yaşamı ile ilgili bir kesit sunmaktadır. Bu veriler, halkın kültürel yaşamı, gelenekleri, inançları, giyimi gibi kent yaşamının farklı yönleriyle ilgili fikir vererek halk bilimine katkı sunduğu gibi Van ve yerel basın tarihine de ışık tutmaktadır. Bir bütün şeklinde ele alınan halk yaşamıyla ilgili, sosyal gerçeklikle örtüşen önemli bilgiler elde edilmiştir. İkinisan gazetesine yansıyan verilerden hareketle Van halk yaşamı, bütün yönleriyle anlamaya yetmeyecektir. Bütüncül bir yaklaşım daha sağlıklı sonuçlar verecektir. Tespit ettiğimiz değerler üzerinde sözlü tarih çalışmaları, alan derlemeleri gibi çalışma teknikleriyle sondaj yapılması kentin, halkın bugünkü yaşamının daha iyi okunmasını sağlayacaktır.
Local newspapers are historical documents that reflect various aspects of public life and witness social life in many ways. The contents reflected in news, columns, advertisements and advertisements contain various data about material and moral values in public life. Newspapers are, in a way, a reflection of society. It does not only reflect the social dimension and culture of the society. It also reflects the phases of the folk life in the cultural dimension and the facts describing the changes. In this context, the study aims to identify and analyze the reflections on public life by scanning the issues of İkinisan Newspaper operating in Van, the first issue of which was published in October 1957, from 1960 to 1970. In this study, our aim is to deal with various aspects of public life. In this context, in our study, social and cultural values such as the problems of the people, the treatment of these problems in local newspapers, the approach of the authorities to these problems, the presentation of services for the public in the newspapers, holidays, celebrations, commemorations, public entertainments were determined and these determined data were discussed within the framework of folklore. taken and analyzed. The information and data encountered in the news, columns, advertisements and advertisements of the 1960-1970 issues of the Ikinisan newspaper provide a cross-section of the social, economic, cultural and urban life of Van. These data not only contribute to folklore by giving an idea about different aspects of urban life such as the cultural life, traditions, beliefs and clothing of the people, but also shed light on the history of Van and the local press. Important information has been obtained about the public life, which is considered as a whole, and overlaps with the social reality. Based on the data reflected in the Ikinisan newspaper, it will not be enough to understand the public life of Van in all its aspects. A holistic approach will yield healthier results. Drilling on the values we have determined with study techniques such as oral history studies and field compilations will provide a better reading of the present life of the city and the people.
