Musâfiridis Political History (916-1090)

Abstract

Abbâsî halifeliğinin siyasî hâkimiyet alanın merkeze doğru daralmasıyla söz konusu bölgelerde yeni bağımsız hanedan ve emîrlikler ortaya çıktı. Bu durum hanedanların faliyetlerini rahat bir şekilde sürdürmelerini sağlamıştı. Azerbaycân, Ermîniyye ve Arrân bölgeleri birçok hanedana ev sahipliği yapmışlardır. Azerbaycan'da Sâcoğullarının çekilmesinden sonra doğan otorite boşluğuyla beraber bölge Musâfirîlerin eline geçti. Musâfirîlerin ilk tahta çıkan üyesi Muhammed b. Musâfir bölgede güçlenip itibar kazandı (316/928-929). Muhammed b. Musâfir'in kendi ailesi tarafından tutsak edilmesinden sonra başa geçen oğlu Merzubân b. Muhammed hanedanın sınırlarını genişletti (330/941). Merzubân hâkimiyeti boyunca sınırları genişletmek için birçok mesele ile uğraştı. Bunlar arasında, Sâcoğulların halefi olarak bağımsız bir yönetim oluşturmaya çalışan Deysem b. İbrahim el-Kurdî ile mücadeleleri (330/941-942-343/954-955) , Rusların saldırılarını püskürtmesi (332/943-944), Rey bölgesini Büveyhîlerden almak istemesi ise onun için hezimete dönüşmüştü (337/948-949). Bunlara rağmen bir iktidar kurduğunu söylemek yerinde olur. Merzubân b. Muhammed'in ölümünden sonra ise, kardeşi Vehsûdân ve oğulları Cestân, İbrahim ve Nâsır arasında taht mücadeleleri başladı. Hâkimiyetini genişletmeye çalışan Revvâdîlerin Azerbaycân'a hâkim olmaları ile beraber Musâfirîler etkinliklerini belli yerlerde gösterebildiler. Gazneliler Musâfirîlere ait yerleri 420/1029'de, Selçuklular ise 454/1062'de ele geçirdiler ve onlara vergi koydular. Musâfirîlerin varlıklarına Alamut İsmailileri son vermiştir (483/1090).

The political domination of the Abbasid caliphate made it possible for the new independent dynasties and empires to emerge and to continue their activities in a comfortable way. Azerbaijan, Armenia and Arran regions also hosted many dynasties. After the withdrawal of the Sajids in Azerbaijan, the region passed into the hands of the Musafırıds with the authority gap. Muhammad b. Musafir gained strength and reputation in the region (316/928-929). Muhammad b. Musafîr son Merzuban b. Muhammad expanded the boundaries of the dynasty (330/941). During the rule of Merzuban, he dealt with a lot of weather. Among them, Daysam b. Ibrahim al-Kurdî's to form an independent government as the successor of the Sajids struggles (330/941-942-343/954-955). The repulsion of the attacks by the Russians (332/943-944), the struggle of his uncle's son Nâsirüddevle, Rey region was Buveyhîs (337/948-949). He then strengthened his dominance and reached a strong position. Merzubân b. Together with the Rewwadid's dominance of Azerbaijan, they showed their activities in certain places. The Gaznavids (420/1029) and Seljuks (454/1062) took the final places left by the Musafirids on certain dates and imposed taxes on them. The existence of the Musafiris was terminated by the Alamut Ismailis (483/1090).
