Investigation of Agricultural and Quality Caracteristics of Some Registered Sesame (sesamum Indicum L.) Cultivars in Diyarbakır Ecological Conditions

Abstract

Bu araştırma, 2017 yılında ikinci ürün olarak, Diyarbakır-Kayapınar ekolojik koşullarında ve çiftçi arazisinde yürütülmüştür. Deneme, tesadüf blokları deneme deseni' ne göre üç tekerrürlü olarak kurulmuştur. Araştırmada 10 tescilli susam çeşidi (Arslanbey, Boydak, Hatipoğlu, Sarısu, Tanas, Orhangazi-99, Kepsut 99, Muganlı 57, Özberk 82 ve Cumhuriyet 99) kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, bitki boyu (cm), ilk dal yüksekliği (cm), yan dal sayısı (adet/bitki), kapsül sayısı (adet/bitki), kapsülde tane sayısı (adet), kapsül uzunluğu (cm), 1000 tohum ağırlığı (g), tohum verimi (kg/da), yağ oranı (%) ve yağ verimi (kg/da) gibi farklı özellikler incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; en yüksek bitki boyu (174.65 cm) Özberk-82 çeşidinden, en fazla yan dal sayısı (7.90 adet/bitki) Hatipoğlu, en fazla kapsül sayısı (162.3 adet/bitki) Tanas çeşidinden elde edilirken, kapsülde en fazla tohum sayısı (81.66 adet) Cumhuriyet-99, en fazla kapsül uzunluğu (3.55 cm) Arslanbey, en fazla 1000 tohum ağırlığı (4.30 g) Hatipoğlu ve en fazla yağ oranı (% 38.10) ise Orhangazi-99 çeşidinden elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada, en fazla ilk dal yüksekliği (33.88 cm), tohum verimi (247.0 kg/da) ve yağ verimi (89.66 kg/da) Boydak susam çeşidinden elde edilmiştir. Korelasyon analizi sonucuna göre; ilk dal yüksekliği ile tohum ve yağ verimi arasında, kapsülde tohum sayısı ile kapsül uzunluğu arasında, tohum verimi ile yağ verimi arasında önemli ve pozitif ilişkiler olduğu belirlenmiştir. This research was carried out in 2017 at the farmland as second crop in Diyarbakır-Kayapınar ecological conditions. Experiment was done based on Randomized Complete Block Design with three replicates. In the study, 10 registered sesame varieties (Arslanbey, Boydak, Hatipoglu, Sarısu, Tanas, Orhangazi-99, Kepsut 99, Muganli 57, Ozberk 82 and Cumhuriyet 99) were used. In study, different characteristics such as plant height (cm), first branch height (cm), number of branches (branch plant -1), number of capsule (capsule plant-1), number of seeds in each capsule, capsule lenght (cm), thousand seed weight (g), seed yield (kg ha-1), oil content (%) and oil yield (kg ha-1) were measured. As a result of the research; the highest plant height (174.65 cm) from Özberk-82 cultivar, maximum number of branches (7.90 branch plant-1) from Hatipoğlu, the highest number of capsules (162.3 capsule plant-1) from Tanas cultivar, while the maximum number of seeds in the capsule (81.66) from Cumhuriyet-99, the highest capsule length (3.55 cm) from Arslanbey, the highest thousand seed weight (4.30 gr) from Hatipoğlu and the highest oil content (38.10 %) were obtained from Orhangazi-99 cultivar. In the study, the highest branch height (33.88 cm), seed yield (2470.0 kg ha-1) and oil yield (896.6 kg ha-1) were obtained from Boydak sesame cultivar. According to the results of correlation analysis; It was determined that there were significant and positive relationships between first branch height with seed and oil yield, between number of seeds in capsule with capsule length, between seed yield with oil yield.
