The Guns of Otoman Empire in Diyarbakır Archaeology Museum

Abstract

Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde yer alan Diyarbakır İli; M.Ö 3000 yıllarından bu yana önemli bir yerleşim merkezi olan Diyarbakır ili, coğrafi konumu ve stratejik önemi nedeniyle tarih boyunca birçok değişik uygarlığa tanıklık etmiştir. Osmanlı Dönemine kadar uzanan bu tarihsel süreç içerisinde bu kültüre ait birçok mimari ve envanterlik esere ev sahipliği yapmıştır.Neolitik Çağ eserleri dahil olmak üzere toplam 26 uygarlığa ait eserlerle birlikte Osmanlı Dönemi eserlerinin de içinde bulunduğu Diyarbakır Arkeoloji Müzesi bünyesinde bulunan 13.755 adet envanterlik ve bir o kadar da etütlük eserle bölgenin önemli kültür merkezlerinden biridir.Çalışmamızda müzede yer alan Osmanlı Dönemi ateşsiz ve savunma silahlarından 23 parça eser; form, malzeme, teknik ve süsleme boyutu açısından incelenerek tanımlanmıştır. Çalışmada eserlerin genel ve detay fotoğraflarına yer verilmiş, ayrıca ayrıntılı çizimleri yapılmıştır.Çalışmanın katalog kısmında; eserlerin müzeye geliş tarihleri, biçimleri, bugünkü durumları, türleri, yapım ve süsleme tekniklerine yer verilmiştir. Değerlendirme ve sonuç bölümlerinde ise katalogda yer alan silahların yapım ve süsleme teknikleri, malzeme boyutuyla değerlendirilmiş ve eserleri Türk Sanatındaki yeri üzerinde durulmuştur. Diyarbakır, which places in the Southeast zone, has been an important location since BC 3000, throughout the history because of it?s geographical and strategic importance, it testifies to many various civilizotions. The first step of this historical time started during Otoman Period and it has been a landlord for many architecture which belongs to the culture and ethnographial arts.Diyarbakır Archeology Museum has works of 26 civilisations and the Works of Ottoman Period an deven the Works of Neolithic Age and Diyarbakır Archeology Museum is the most İmportant cultural centre of the zone with 13.755 inventory and defending weapons are defined up to their from, equipments, techniques and arnaments.
