Ashabu's-suffe and Its Place in Hadiht Narration

Abstract

Suffe, hicretle beraber Medine'de oluşan yeni İslam toplumunda doğal olarak meydana çıkan ve döneminin şartları içerisinde bir akademi görevi gören bir kurumdur. Doğası itibarı ile ilmi gelişmeye açık olan İslam toplumunun ilk nesli olan sahabe, içinde doğup büyüdükleri ümmi Arap toplumunun cehalet kalıplarını, Kur'an ve Hadis'le aşarken Mescid-î Nebevî ve Suffe onlar için en önemli eğitim mekânı olmuştur. Resulullah (s.a.s.)'in başmuallim olduğu bu eğitim yuvasında, başta Kur'an olmak üzere Hadis, Fıkıh ve kitabet, eğitimi yapılan konular arsındadır. Hadis rivayetinin en önemli halkası olan sahabe, adeta 'başlarına bir kuş konmuşçasına' Resulullah (s.a.s.)'in ağzından çıkanlara dikkat kesilmiş, Ondan öğrendiklerini içselleştirmek için kendi aralarında ders müzakeresi yapmışlardır. İşlerinden dolayı her gün Resulullah (s.a.s.)'in yanına gidemeyen kimi sahabeler, nöbetleşerek Resulullah (s.a.s.)'den işitmediklerini birbirlerinden öğrenmeye çalışmışlarıdır. Suffe ashabı ise uğraşacakları bir ticaret veya bağ bahçe sahibi olmayan kimselerden oluşmaktaydı. Devamlı mescidte bulunmaları sebebi ile Resulullah (s.a.s.)'den daha fazla istifade edebiliyor ve bir kısmı Onun hizmetinde bulundukları için de Resulullah (s.a.s.)'in bazı özel hallerine muttali olabiliyorlardı. Suffe, is an institution that naturally constituted in the new Islamic society formed in Medina after the Hejira and served as an academy within the conditions of that period. Mescid-i Nabevi and Suffe became the most important training places for sahabe who were the first generation of the Islamic society that was open to scientific development intrinsically, as they overcome the ignorant patterns of the Arab community which they were born in, with the Qur'an and Hadith. In this educational place where Resulullah(pbuh) is headed, the Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh and the oratory are the subjects of education. The sahabe, who was the most important ring of the hadith narration, had paid attention to what Resulullah (pbuh) says as 'they benefit from a windfall' and made course debates among them to internalize what they learned from him. Some sahabes who couldn't go to Resulullah(pbuh) because of their work, tried to learn from other sahabes who were by Resulullah(pbuh) alternately. Suffe Companion was made up of people who did not own a trade or vineyard to deal with. They could benefit more from Resulullah(pbuh) because of their constant presence in the Mosque and some of them could witness some special cases of Resulullah(pbuh) because they were in his service.
