Abstract

Siirt, tarihi açıdan önemli bir ilimizdir. Osmanlı Devleti'nin hakimiyetine girdikten sonra, Siirt'in şehir hayatında hızlı bir canlanma meydana gelmiştir. İşte, bu canlanmayla birlikte Siirt'te şer'iyye sicil defterleri tutulmaya başlanmıştır.Şer'iyye sicil defterleri, Osmanlı tarihi araştırmacıları için birinci dereceden öneme sahip kaynaklardır. Bunlar, kaydedildiği dönemdeki halkın sosyal, idari, hukuki, iktisadi ve kültürel yapısı hakkında bilgi verir. Şer'iyye sicil defterleri sayesinde de, Siirt'in toplumsal hayatını, kültürel ve ekonomik yapısını tespit etme imkânı buluyoruz.Çalışmamızın konusunu oluşturan 415 numaralı Bitlis şer'iyye sicil defterinin tamamı, 1314-1327/1896-1909 yılları arasındaki belgeleri kapsamaktadır.Tezimize, konu hakkında genel bir bilgi vermek amacıyla, giriş mahiyetindeki bölümümüzle başladık. Daha sonra Siirt'in tarihi ve şer'iyye sicilleri hakkında bilgi verdik. Bunun devamında ise 415 numaralı Bitlis şer'iyye sicilinin özelliklerini, fihristini ve transkripsiyonunu verdik. Tezimizin sonuç kısmında ise, 415 numaralı Bitlis şer'iyye sicilinin genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Buna göre, bu çalışma ile Siirt'in 1314-1327/1896-1909 yılları arasındaki sosyal, idari, hukuki, iktisadi kültürel adli yapısı ile Müslüman, gayrimüslim ilişkileri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır

Siirt is an important city in terms of historical aspect. After being dominated by Ottomon Empire, there is an quick activation in the city life of Siirt.Thus; by this activation, ser?iyye registers being used in Siirt.Ser?iyye registers are the sources having the importance of first level for researchers of Otomon History. They give information about the social,administrative, legal, economic and cultural structures of the society in which theyare written. And, we have the opportunity of proving the social life, cultural andeconomic structures of Siirt thanks to Ser?iyye Registers.The complete of 415. Bitlis?s Ser?iyye Register which forms the subject of our study contains the documents of the years between. 1314-1327/1896-1909.We start to our thesis with the introduction part in order to giving a general information about the subject. Then, we give information about the history and Ser?iyye Registers of Siirt-Moreover, we give the features, index, transcription of 415.Bitlis?s Ser?iyye Register. And, in the conclusion part of our thesis a general evaluation of the 415. Bitlis?s Ser?iyye Register has made. Thus, by this study the social, administrative, legal, economic, cultural, judicial structures of Siirt between the years of 1314-1327/1896-1909 and the relationships of moslemsnonmoslemsare tried to prove.
