Abstract
Bu çalışma Bahman Ghobadi filmleri üzerinden kadının sinemadaki yeri ve temsilini ele almak için yapılmıştır. Bahman Ghobadi filmlerinde genel olarak Ortadoğu işlendiği için doğal olarak kadınların trajedileri ele alınmaktadır. İran sinemasının önemli bir yönetmeni olan Bahman Ghobadi'nin filmleri, son derece gerçekçi işlendiği için belgesele yakın özelliktedirler. Bu filmlerde genellikle çocukların ve kadınların trajedisi işlenir. Sınır metaforunun önemli bir yer tuttuğu bu filmler, söz konusu coğrafyadaki insanların bu sınırlar arasındaki trajik yaşamını ele alır. Bahman Ghobadi filmlerindeki kadınlar hem inancın hem de geleneğin getirmiş olduğu ilkel kalıpların kurbanı biçiminde tasvir edilir. Bu kadınların bir iradesi, tercihi ya da konforlu yaşamı yoktur. Onlar sadece birer cinsel nesne ya da köledirler. Toplumsal cinsiyet eşitsizliğinin üst düzeyde olduğu bu yaşam biçiminde, kadına yüklenen toplumsal kodlar, sürekli onların ezilmesinin nedenidir.
This study was carried out to deal with the place and representation of women in the cinema through Bahman Ghobadi films. Since the Middle East is generally handled in Bahman Ghobadi's films, the tragedies of women are naturally addressed. The films of Bahman Ghobadi, an important director of Iranian cinema, are close to documentary because they are handled very realistically. In these films, the tragedy of children and women is usually handled. These films, in which the metaphor of the border holds an important place, deal with the tragic life of the people in the geography in question between these borders. Women in Bahman Ghobadi films are portrayed as victims of primitive patterns brought by both belief and tradition. These women do not have a will, choice or comfortable life. They are simply sexual objects or slaves. In this lifestyle where gender inequality is at a high level, the social codes imposed on women are the reason why they are constantly oppressed.
