Qasim Bin Salahaddin Al-hânî's Life and Works and Visions of Sufis
Abstract
1028-1109/1619-1697 yılları arasında yaşayan Kâsım b. Selahaddin el-Hânî, Halep'in bölgesel çaptaki en saygın tüccarlarından birisiydi. Henüz yirmi iki yaşında iken ticarete atılmış, on yıl boyunca bu mesleği icrâ etmiştir. Daha sonra aldığı bir kararla mesleği dâhil eski adetlerinin tümünü terk etmiş ve hayatında yepyeni bir sayfa açmıştır. Yedi sene boyunca açlık ve gece nöbetleriyle nefsini terbiye etmeye çalışmıştır. Keskin zekâsı ve derin kavrayış gücü sayesinde çok kısa bir sürede hem zâhiri hem de bâtîni ilimlere vakıf olmuştur. İlmi icâzetini Ebû'l Vefâ el-Ûrdi'den; halifelik icâzetini ise Kâdirî şeyhi Ahmet el-Hımsî'den almıştır. Hilâviyye ve Şerefiyye başta olmak üzere Halep'in önde gelen medreselerinde uzun dönem hocalık yapmıştır. Ömrünün büyük çoğunluğunu irşâd hizmeti ve talebe tâlimine sarf etmiştir. İslam hukuku (fıkıh) alanındaki yetkinliğinden dolayı uzun bir dönem Halep Müftülüğü vazifesini de yürütmüştür. 1109/1697'da Halep'te vefat etmiş, Bâbû'l Mâkam'ın dış tarafında bulunan, içerisinde birçok büyük zâtın da kabirlerinin bulunduğu Türbetû'ş-Şû'lâ'ya defnedilmiştir. Kâsım b. Selahaddin el-Hânî, XVII. yüzyıl Osmanlı toplumunun ilim ve irfan hayatında yer edinmiş âlim ve sûfî şahsiyetlerinden birisidir. Tasavvuf anlayışı, şerîate ittiba ve istikâmet kavramları etrafında şekillenmiştir. Tasavvufun pasiflik değil, aksine aktif bir şekilde mücâdele etmek olduğu fikrini benimsemiştir. Aralarında Halep'in en önemli iki zâviye kurucusunun da bulunduğu binlerce talebe yetiştirmiş olup, mantık, kelâm, akâid, fıkıh, hadîs ve tasavvuf gibi çeşitli alanlarda birçok eser telif etmiştir. Tasavvufa dair müstakil eseri es-Seyr ve's-sülûk ilâ meliki'l-mülûk, tasavvuf ilminin mahiyeti, amacı, yöntemi ve kuralları gibi temel meseleler dışında, tasavvufla ilgili diğer tüm konuların da yer aldığı bu alandaki temel referans kaynakları arasında sayılmıştır.
Qasim bin Saláhaddin al-Khànî's life, who lived between 1028-1109/1619-1697, is one of Aleppo's most respected traders on a regional scale. He started business when he was only twenty-two years old and continued to perform this profession for ten years. Later, with a decision he took, he abandoned all of his old customs, including his profession, and opened a brand new page in his life. He tried to educate himself with hunger and night shifts for seven years. Thânks to his keen intelligence and deep understanding, he became familiar with both apparent and intangible sciences in a very short time. His scientific approval from Ábú'l Wafà al-Úrdí; He received his license for the caliphate from Ahmad al-Homsí, the Sheikh of Qadirí. He worked as a long-term teacher in the leading madrasahs of Aleppo, especially in Khilàviyyà and Saràfiyyà. He spent most of his life on guidance and instruction. Due to his competence in Islamic law (theology), he also served as Aleppo Muftí for a long time. He died in Aleppo in 1109/1697, and was buried in Túrbàt aş-Şú'lá, whose are located outside the Bâb al-Màkàm and where there are graves of many great entities. Qasim b. Saláhaddin al-Khànî, XVII. he is one of the scholars and sufi figures who took place in the life of knowledge and wisdom of the century Ottoman society. The understanding of mysticism has been shaped around the concepts of sharia and direction. He adopted the idea that Sufism is not passivity, but an active struggle. He raised thousands of students, including the founders of the two most important lodges in Aleppo, and he authored many works in various fields such as logic, theology, creed, philosophy, hadith and mysticism. His independent work on Sufism, as-Sáyr wa's- sülúk ilá meliki'l-mülúk, is counted among the main reference sources in this field, which includes all other subjects related to Sufism, apart from the basic issues such as the nature, purpose, method and rules of the science of Sûfism.
