Analyzing the Verses in the Qur'an That Were Revealed To the Prophets Before Prophet Muhammad

Abstract

Kur'ân-ı Kerim evrensel ve derin manalar içeren bir kitaptır. Onun bu özelliğinden dolayı indiği ilk dönemden beri insanlar tarafından incelenmiştir. Yapılan bu incelemeler neticesinde, çok sayıda eser telif edilmiştir. Bu eserler kimi âlimler tarafından Kur'ân'ın tamamı esas alınırken kimilerince de bir kısmı ele alınmıştır. Yapılan kısmî çalışmalar da ise çeşitli konular baz alınmıştır. Bütün olsun kısmî olsun telif edilen bu çalışmalara baktığımızda çok sayıda Kur'ân âyetlerinin araştırıldığı dikkat çekmektedir. Her biri kendi alanında oldukça değerli olan bu çalışmalar insanların Kur'ân âyetlerini daha iyi anlamasına yönelik ışık tutmaktadır. Kategorik olarak âyetler hakkında fıkhî, luğavî, tarihî vb. alanda çok sayıda araştırma yapıldığı muhakkaktır. Bununla birlikte ülkemizde Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de Hz. Muhammed'den önceki peygamberlere inen vahiyler hakkında müstakil akademik çalışmalara daha fazla ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Bu bağlamda ―Hz. Muhammed'den Önceki Peygamberlere Vahyedilen Âyetlerin İncelenmesi‖ başlıklı bir araştırmanın ilgili alana katkı sunacağı ümit edilmektedir. Bu araştırmanın giriş kısmında gerek literatür taraması gerekse alandaki yöntem ve sınırlılıklar hakkında bilgi verilmiş, ikinci bölümde Kur'ân'da adı geçen peygamberler ve kavimleri ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde Hz. Muhammed'den önceki Paygamberlere vahyedilen âyetler incelenmiş ve bu vahiylerin içerdiği tüm mesajların birbiriyle olan bağlantıları tespit edilerek bir tahlile gidilmiştir.The Holy Quran is a book that contains universal and deep meanings. Because of this peculiarity, it has been studied by people since the first period of its revealing. As a result of these investigations many works have been indited. In these works the whole of the Quran was taken as the basis by some scholars, but less of the book by others. In the partial studies also various subjects were handled. When we look at these works, which have been wholly or partially writed, it is noteworthy that many verses of the Quran have been researched. These studies, each of which are very valuable in their own fields, shed light on peoples better understanding of the verses of Quran. It is certain that a great deal research has been done categorically about verses in the field of jurisprudence, lexicon, history etc. However, there is a greater need for independent academic studies on the prophetic revelations in Quran, in our country. In these context it is hoped that a research titled 'Examining the Verses Revealed to Prophets Before Prophet Mohammad' will contribute to relevant field. In the intruduction part of this study, the prophets mentioned in the Quran will be duscussed in the first part, after giving information about both the literature review and the methods and limitations in the field. In the second part, the verses revealed to the prophets before prophet Mohammed will be examined on the connections between all the messages contained in these revelations will be tried to be determined. In the third part, a general evaluations of the verses that will be examined will be made.
