dc.description.abstract Analogy is considered one of the beautiful rhetorical methods that has an impact on the listener’s mind. It is the broadest and most spread kind of rhetoric types in the speech, and some of the beauties and aesthetics of speech are referred to it as it contains approximation of meanings and picture is in sensory image where the listener sees it pictured clearly to him. It has been said: the feasible is closer to the soul than rational, and the soul is more attached to what it sees and feels; therefore, analogy has a great impact on the listener’s soul and that is why we found it in a great deal in the speeches and poems. The Holy Quran contains analogy in much of its verses with the aim of bringing the meanings closer to listeners and to portray it to them in a tangible way accepted by the soul and adapted to it quickly. Analogy with all its types was found in Prophet Mohammed’s Hadiths, there is no classic speech without analogy, and analogy is a method of transferring meanings and ideas in a sensory image pictured in the listener’s eyes. Prophet’s Sunnah contains much of this delicate rhetoric type, and it is observed in education, advice and guidance sections. Thus I preferred to present this research of mine, titled “Eloquence in Prophet Mohammed’s Hadith”, and eloquence is a branch of analogy, and I found out that many of prophet’s Hadiths used this rhetorical method to explain, show and highlight the Hadith’s meanings through that rhetorical method. Thus, I wanted to demonstrate the characteristics and rhetorical characteristics of the Prophet's Hadiths to view myself and the reader the beauty of using analogy in Hadith through giving examples of Prophet’s Hadiths that I examine to show its rhetorical secrets. en_US
