The Role of Small and Medium Industry Development and Support Administration (kosgeb)'s Applied Entrepreneurship Traininig on the Entrepreneurship

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı'na bağlı olarak çalışan KOSGEB (Küçük ve Orta Ölçekli Sanayi Geliştirme ve Destekleme İdaresi) tarafından her yıl, Türkiye'nin her yerinde, yüz binlerce girişimci adayına verilen, 'Uygulamalı Girişimcilik Eğitimi' katılımcılarının girişimcilik özelliklerini ölçmek, verilen bu eğitimlerin katılımcılarda girişimcilik potansiyelini ortaya çıkarıp çıkarmadığını ve nitekim ortaya çıkan bu potansiyel ile yatırım yapıp yapmadıklarını analiz etmektir. Bununla birlikte çalışmada, eğitimlerin içeriğinin zenginleştirilmesi ve eğitimlerin daha verimli hale getirilmesi için çözüm önerilerinde bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışmada literatür araştırması sonucunda 5'li Likert ölçeği kullanılarak içerisinde nitel ve nicel soruları katılımcılara yöneltecek, karma yöntem ile elde edilmiş 3 tane anket formu oluşturulmuştur. Çalışma boylamsal bir çalışma olacağından bu anketlerden birincisi kurstan hemen önce, ikincisi kurstan hemen sonra üçüncü ve sonuncusu ise kurstan altı ay veya en geç bir yıl sonra katılımcılara uygulanmıştır. Anketler ile elde edilen veriler SPSS program ile değerlendirilmiş ortaya çıkan sonuçlara göre çözüm önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda KOSGEB ve işbirliğindeki Kurum ve Kuruluşlar tarafından verilen bu 'Uygulamalı Girişimcilik Eğitimleri'nin girişimcilik bilincinin oluşturulmasında önemli bir etkisinin olduğu ancak bu etkinin yatırım kararı için tek başına yeterli olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to measure entrepreneurship features of participants taking 'Applied Entrepreneurship Education' which is given every year to hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs throughout Turkey by KOSGEB (Small and Medium Industry Development and Support Administration) affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Technology. It is also aimed to analyze whether these trainings reveal the entrepreneurial potential of the participants and whether they have invested with this potential. In addition, this study aims to make suggestions for enriching the content of these trainings and making the trainings more efficient. In this scope, 3 questionnaires were obtained by using a 5-point Likert scale. These questionnaires were obtained by mixed method and include qualitative and quantitative questions to the participants. As the study will be a longitudinal study, the first of these questionnaires was applied to the participants just before the course, the second immediately after the course and the third questionnaire to the participants six months or no later than one year following the course. The data obtained with the questionnaires were evaluated with SPSS program and suggestions were made according to the results. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that these 'Applied Entrepreneurship Trainings' given by KOSGEB and its collaborating institutions and organizations have a significant effect on creating entrepreneurship awareness but this effect is not enough for investment decision alone.
