Opinions of Teachers, Students and Administrators on the Use of Student Teacher Support System
Abstract
Dünya ülkeleri özellikle de gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkeler 20. yüzyıldan itibaren fiziki gelişime değil de ülkenin eğitim, sosyal ve kültürel gelişimine daha çok önem vermeye başlamışlardır. Sosyal ve kültürel gelişimin temelinde eğitimin daha büyük bir rol aldığı bilinmektedir. Dünya ülkeleri önemli bir role sahip olan eğitimin, toplumdaki önemini artırmak için birçok yeniliklere araştırmalara ve projelere imza atmışlardır. Bu çalışmada ülkemizde 2022 yılında faaliyete geçen Öğrenci-Öğretmen Destek Sisteminin (ÖDS) öğretmen, öğrenci ve idareci görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından 2012 yılında aktif olarak eğitim sisteminin bir parçası haline gelen Eğitim Bilişim Ağı'nın (EBA) bünyesinde ve ona paralel olarak öğrenciler için içeriği zenginleştirilmiş ÖDS'nin eğitim sistemine kazandıracağı ivme merak konusu olmuştur. Bu açıdan ÖDS'nin kullanımı ile ilgili olarak öğrenci, öğretmen ve idarecilerin görüşleri incelenerek teknolojik çalışmaların eğitim sistemini nasıl etkileyeceği hakkında bilgiler elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada öğretmenlerin, öğrencilerin ve idarecilerin ÖDS'nin kullanımı hakkındaki görüşleri olgusu detaylı bir şekilde incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın katılımcıları; 10 öğretmen, 10 öğrenci ve 5 idareciden oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılar, amaçlı örnekleme yoluyla belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada sonuç olarak öğretmenlerin, öğrencilerin ve idarecilerin ÖDS'nin öğrenci başarısına olumlu yönde katkı sağladığını ve öğrenci ödevlendirme sorumluluğunu daha iyi takip etmeye yardımcı olduğunu vurgulamışlardır. Bunun yanı sıra ekrana maruz kalma sonucunda bazı sağlık problemlerine de dikkat çekmişlerdir. Bu araştırmanın, içerik analizi yapılarak daha sonra teknolojik yeniliklerin eğitim sistemi üzerindeki etkisi ile ilgili çalışmalara ışık tutacağı öngörülmektedir.
World countries, especially developed and developing countries, have started to give more importance to the educational, social and cultural development of the country rather than physical development since the 20th century. It is known that education plays a greater role in the basis of social and cultural development. Countries around the world have undertaken many innovations, research and projects to increase the importance of education, which has an important role in society. In this study, the Student-Teacher Support System (STSS), which became operational in our country in 2022, was evaluated according to the opinions of teachers, students and administrators. It has been a matter of curiosity that the momentum that STSS, whose content has been enriched for students, will bring to the education system within and in parallel with the Education Information Network (EIN), which became an active part of the education system by the Ministry of National Education in 2012, has been a matter of curiosity. In this respect, the opinions of students, teachers and administrators regarding the use of STSS were examined and information was obtained about how technological studies would affect the education system. In this study, phenomenology pattern, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In this study, the opinions of teachers, students and administrators about the use of STSS were tried to be examined in detail. In this context, the participants of the study consist of 10 teachers, 10 students and 5 administrators. Participants were identified through criterion sampling. Semi-structured interview technique was used as a data collection tool in the research. Content analysis method was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, teachers, students and administrators emphasized that STSS contributes positively to student success and helps them better follow the responsibility of assigning student homework. In addition, they also drew attention to some health problems as a result of exposure to screens. It is anticipated that this research will shed light on studies on the impact of technological innovations on the education system by conducting content analysis.
