The Structure and the Content of Hikmet Feridun Es's Novel and Storys

Abstract

Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında hikâye yazarak edebiyat yaşamına başlayan Hikmet Feridun (1910- 1992), asıl olarak Türk edebiyat tarihinde Bugün de Diyorlar ki (1932) adlı röportaj eseriyle tanınmış ve günümüze kadar bu eseri ve röportajcı yönüyle gelmiş bir yazardır. Ancak; gazete ve dergi sayfalarına göz attığımızda yazarın öykü, roman, deneme, gezi yazısı gibi birçok türde eser verdiği görülecektir. Bu türler içerisinde yazar, hikâye ve romana özellikle yer vermiş, bini aşan sayıda hikâye ve üç adet roman kaleme almıştır.Bu çalışmada, Hikmet Feridun Es'in bugüne kadar gün yüzüne çıkmamış, gazete ve dergilerdeki hikâye ve romanlarını tek tek tespit etmek; elde edilen metinleri edebiyat metodolojisi içerisinde `insan, zaman, mekân, muhteva, anlatıcı-bakış açısı, dil ve üslup' açılarından tahlil etmek ve elde edilen verilerle edebiyat tarihimize bir nebze de olsa ışık tutmaya çalıştık.Her şeyden önce tezimiz biyografik bir çalışma değildir. Bu sebeple Hikmet Feridun Es'in hayat hikâyesi üzerinde durulmamıştır. Roman ve hikâyeleri merkeze alınmış ve çözümleyici (analitik) bir yöntemle tek tek incelenmiştir.
