Abstract
Gaz-Katı faz ayırıcı siklonlarda ayırıcı performansın saptanmasına yönelik olarak , hava ile taşınan kes materyalinin siklonda ayrılması ve kes'in durutulması işlevine yönelik (Özkan, 2001) çalışmasında tasarım ve imalatı gerçekleştirilerek test edilen model siklon ile alternatif siklon konstrüksiyonlarının CFD simülasyonları oluşturulup karşılaştırması yapılmıştır.CFD simülasyonları , geometri ve mesh için GAMBİT 2.3. , koşulları ve niteliği belirlenen akışkan koşulları ile katı parçacık tanımlamalarının yüklenmesi ve test sonuçlarını elde etmek için de FLUENT 6.3. programları kullanılmıştır.Model siklona ilişkin geometrik boyutlar ve akış koşulları aynen oluşturularak bilgisayarda test edilmiştir. Ayrıca tasarlanan alternatif siklon geometrilerine ilişkin CFD test sonuçları ile de karşılaştırılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kes, Siklon, CFD, Akış
In this project, CFD simulations of alternative cyclone constructions have been created and compared with the model cyclone which has been designed and tested by production at the project (Özkan, 2001) oriented towards determining the performance of separator at gas-solid phases separator cyclones, function of separating of chaff material that is carried with air at the cyclone and towards function of purifying the chopped hay.GAMBIT 2.3 software has been used for CFD simulations, geometry, and for creating mesh. Also, FLUENT 6.3 software has been used for loading air-chaff two phased fluid which of conditions and attributes are predetermined and to get the test results.Geometric dimensions and fluid conditions related to cyclone has been created exactly same and tested by computers. Furthermore, these dimensions and conditions are compared with the CFD test results related to geometrics of designed alternative cyclone.Key Words: Copped hay, Cyclone, CFD, Fluid
