Al-Amâlî in Arabic Language and the Work of Ibn Al-Shajarî Entitled Al-Amâlî

Abstract

Bu tez İslam dünyasında gelişmiş bir yazım türü olan emâlî ve bu türün dil alanında özgün örneğini teşkil eden İbnu'ş-Şecerî'nin el-Emâlî adlı eserini metot ve içerik açısından ele almayı hedeflemektedir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada yazarın hayatı, eserleri ve Arap Dili alanında telif edilmiş emâlîler ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca yazarın eserinin emâlî türü eserler içindeki konumu ve etkisinin tespiti hedeflenmiştir. Bu amaçla yapılan çalışmamız giriş ve üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde çalışmanın amacı, önemi, kapsamı ve çalışmanın metodu hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde İbnu'ş-Şecerî'nin hayatı, ilmi kişiliği ve el-Emâlî adlı eserinin Arap Edebiyatındaki yeri ve önemi irdelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde Arap Dili ve Edebiyatı alanında yazılmış emâlî ve mecâlis türü eserler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise İbnu'ş-Şecerî'nin el-Emâlî adlı eserinden hareketle gramer konularındaki görüşleri irdelenmiştir. Çalışma neticesinde ulaşılan bulgular, sonuç kısmında okuyucuya sunulmuştur. This thesis aims to analyse al-amâlî, a genre of writing developed in the Islamic world, and Ibn al-Shajarî's al-Amâlî, which constitutes the original example of this genre in the field of language, in terms of method and content. In this context, the study deals with the author's life, his works and the emâlîs written in the field of Arabic Language. In addition, it is aimed to determine the position and influence of the author's work among the works of the emâlî genre. Our study for this purpose consists of an introduction and three main chapters. In the introduction, information about the purpose, importance, scope and method of the study is given. In the first chapter, Ibn al-Shajarî's life, his scientific personality and the place and importance of his work al-Amâlî in Arabic Literature were examined. In the second chapter, information about the works of al-Amâlî written in the field of Arabic Language and Literature is given. In the third part, Ibn al-Shajarî's views on grammatical issues based on his work al-Amâlî are analysed. The findings of the study are presented to the reader in the conclusion section.
