Communication Conflicts in Teaching Mathematics
Abstract
Bu araştırma ilköğretim 6-7-8. sınıflarda matematik öğretiminde başarıyı olumsuz etkileyecek iletişim çatışmalarını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada il merkez, ilçe merkez ve köylerdeki matematik öğretmenlerinin düşünceleri alınmış ve aynı davranış şekillerine öğrencilerin bakış açısının ne olduğu sorgulanmıştır. Böylelikle iletişim çatışmaları öğretmen-öğrenci ve yerleşim yerleri boyutuyla irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır.
This research has been implemented with the aim of explaining the communication conflicts which affect the success in teaching mathematics negatively in 6th, 7th and 8th grades in primary school. In the research, opinions of mathematics teachers from city centers, town centers and villages were taken and the perspectives of the students on the same styles of behavior were questioned. In this way, communication conflicts were tried to be examined in terms of teacher-student and locations.
