Opinions of Biology Teachers on Fungi: a Qualitative Research on Van Provincial Center
Abstract
Bu tez çalışması, 2019-2022 yılları arasında Van il merkezindeki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı okullarda Biyoloji öğretmenlerinin mantarları ne kadar tanındığını tespit edilmesi ve bu tespitler doğrultusunda gerekli tanıtımlarının yapılması amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma, nitel bir araştırma yöntemiyle biyoloji öğretmenlerinin mantarlar hakkındaki bilgilerini tespit etmeyi kapsamaktadır. Ayrıca çalışma alanına, yalnızca Van ilinde merkeze bağlı Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı bünyesinde çalışan öğretmenler seçilmiştir. Seçilen öğretmenlerin mantarlar hakkındaki bilgi düzeyini ölçmek için ön mülakat uygulanmıştır. Sonrasında şahsım tarafından hazırlanan mantarlar hakkında seminer sunulmuş ve son mülakat yapılarak öğretmenlerin bilgi seviyesini daha üst seviyeye çıkarılması hedeflemiştir. In this thesis, it is aimed to determine how much fungi are recognized by the biology teachers in the schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the city center of Van between the years 2019-2022 and to make the necessary introductions in line with these determinations. The research includes determining the views of biology teachers about fungi with a qualitative research method. In addition, only teachers working within the Ministry of National Education affiliated to the center in the province of Van were selected for the study area. A pre-interview was conducted to measure the knowledge level of selected teachers about fungi. Afterwards, a seminar on fungi prepared by me was presented and the final interview was made to increase the knowledge level of the teachers to a higher level.
