A Review on the Word Types in the Texts in the Eighth Grade Kurmancî Textbook

Abstract

Di bin banê Wezareta Perwerdeya Neteweyî da ji sala 2012an pê ve perwerdeya hin zimanan wek dersên hilbijêrkî hate pêşkêşkirin. Yek ji van zimanan jî kurdî ye ku bi zaravayên xwe kurmancî û zazakî di nav van dersan da cih digire. Îro di xwendingehên navîn da ango ji pêlika pola pêncem heta pêlika pola heştem dersa kurmancî yan jî zazakî bi awayê hilbijêrkî dikare bê vekirin. Armanca vê xebatê, vekolîna cureyên bêjeyên metnên di pirtûka dersa kurmancî ya pola heştem da ne. Di vê xebatê da, li gor cureyên bêjeyan dabeşbûna bêjeyên di metnên berhema navborî da, hatiye tesbîtkirin. Ev xebat li gor rêbaza vekolîna çawanî (qualitative research methods) hatiye rêvebirin. Xebatê da dane bi rêya analîza dokumentê hatine bidestxistin. Materyala xebatê, 35 metnên di pirtûka dersa kurmancî ya pola heştem da ne ku aîdê weşanên Wezareta Perwerdeya Neteweyî ne. Daneyên hatine bidestxistin, bi rêya analîza teswîrî hatine analîzkirin, bi tabloyan hatine pêşkêşkirin û şîrovekirin. Di dawîya xebatê da metnên di pirtûka dersa kurmancî ya pola heştem da serhev 12594 bêje hatine tesbîtkirin. Di hemû metnan da 4347 navdêr, 2165 lêker, 775 rengdêr, 925 hoker, 1714 cihnav, 1313 daçek, 1226 gihanek û 129 baneşan hatine bikaranîn. Tê dîtin ku metnên di pirtûka dersa kurmancî ya pola heştem da herî zêde navdêr herî kêm baneşan hatine bikaranîn. Di metnên agahîder da 9781, yên hîkayetî da 2134 û helbestan da 679 bêje hatine bikaranîn. Since 2012, some languages have been taught as elective courses within the Ministry of National Education. One of these is the Kurdish course taught in Kurmancî and Zazaki dialects. Today, in secondary schools, that is, in the five to eight grades, Kurmancî or Zazaki courses can be opened as electives. The purpose of this study is to examine the word types in the texts in the eighth-grade Kurmancî textbook. The study reveals the distribution of words in the texts in the work in question according to word types. This study was conducted using the qualitative research method. The data in the study was collected through document analysis. The material of the study consists of 35 texts in the eighth-grade Kurmancî textbook belonging to MEB Publications. The obtained data was analyzed with descriptive analysis, presented in tables and interpreted. At the end of the study, a total of 12594 words were identified in the texts in the eighth-grade Kurmancî textbook. It was determined that 4347 nouns, 2165 verbs, 775 adjectives, 925 adverbs, 1714 pronouns, 1313 prepositions, 1226 conjunctions and 129 exclamations were used in all texts. In the texts in the eighth grade Kurmancî textbook, nouns were the most common and exclamation words were the least common. It was determined that 9781 words were used in informative texts, 2134 in narrative texts and 679 in poems. At the end of the study, various suggestions were made to relevant individuals and institutions, especially to curriculum preparers and implementers and textbook writers.
