The Approprıateness of the Work Anlmals Meetıng by Erıch Kästner To Chıld and the Prıncıples of the Chıld Lıterature

Abstract

Erich Kästner, Türk ve Alman çocuk edebiyatında önemli yeri olan bir çocuk edebiyatı yazarıdır. Bu araştırmada, Erich Kästner 'in Hayvanlar Toplantısı adlı eserinin çocuğa göreliği ve çocuk edebiyatı ilkelerine uygunluğu incelenmiştir. Çalışmada kuramsal çerçeve dahilinde çocuk, çocuk ve edebiyat, çocuğa görelik, Almanya ve Türkiye'de çocuk edebiyatı, çocuk edebiyatının dayanması gereken temel ilkeler hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Tarama modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmada veri kaynağını Erich Kästner'in Hayvanlar Toplantısı isimli eseri oluşturmuştur. Bu eserin çocuğa göreliği, çocuk edebiyatı ilkeleri doğrultusunda biçimsel yönden (şekil ve büyüklük, kapak ve ciltleme, kâğıt cinsi, sayfa düzenlemesi, harfler ve punto, resimlendirme özellikleri) ve içerik özellikleri yönünden (tema, dil ve anlatım, kahramanlar, iletiler, çevre, eğitsel ilkeler ) incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular ile Erich Kästner'in Hayvanlar Toplantısı adlı eserinin, çocuk edebiyatı ilkelerine içerik ve biçimsel yönden çocuğa göre uygun olduğu ve çocuk edebiyatı yayını olarak olumlu özellikler taşıdığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları doğrultusunda, Erich Kästner?in Hayvanlar Toplantısı adlı eserinin çocuklara sağlıklı bir okuma kültürü edinmeleri için tavsiye edilmesi öneri olarak sunulmuştur. Erich Kästner is a children literature writer who has an important place in Turkish and German child literature. In this research the appropriateness of his work `?Animals Meeting?? to child and principles of children literature is analysed. In the research the general information about child, child and literatüre,appropriateness to the child, the child literature in Turkey and Germany and the main principles that child literature has to based on is given a theoretical frame. In the research, in which the survey model is used, the work of Erich Kästner?s `?Animals Meeting?? is the data source. The appropriateness of this work to the child according to the principles of children literature is analysed in shape ( size, cover and binding kind of paper, order of pages, letters and type size, features illustration ) and in the features of content (theme, language and narration, characters, messages, environment and educational principles. With the indications of this research it is stated that Erich Kästner?s work `?Animals Meeting?? is appropriate to the principles of children literature positively as a children literature work with its shape, content and the appropriateness to the child. According to the results of research it is suggested that Erich Kästner?s work `? Animals Meeting?? may be adviced to children to acquire a healthy reading culture.
