Perception of Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Its Impact on Job Satisfaction of Public Employees: Van and Bitlis Province Case
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı birçok araştırmaya konu olmuş olan Kurumsal Vatandaşlık Davranışı Algısı ve Kamu Çalışanlarının İş Tatmini Üzerindeki Etkisinin belirlenen kamu kurumlarında incelenmesidir. Çalışma üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışı algısının tanımı, kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışının türleri, kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışının boyutları, kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışına etki eden faktörler, kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışı ile ilgili teori ve araştırmalar ve son olarak kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışı ile ilişkili kavramlar açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde; iş tatmini kavramı, iş tatmini ile ilgili teoriler, iş tatminini etkileyen bireysel ve kurumsal faktörler incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde; kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışı algısı ile iş tatmini arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Bu ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla konuyla ilgili bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırma, Van ve Bitlis illerindeki İl Emniyet ve Sağlık Müdürlükleri ile İl Defterdarlık'larında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kurumsal Vatandaşlık Davranışı Algısının Kamu Çalışanlarının İş Tatmini üzerindeki etkisini ölçmek için 5'li Likert ölçeğinden oluşan bir anket formu kullanılmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucuna ilişkin analizler neticesinde yorumlama yapılmış ve kurumsal vatandaşlık davranışı algısı ile iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkiyi etkileyen nedenlere değinilerek tavsiyelerde bulunulmuştur. The purpose of this research is employee perceptions of organizational citizenship behavior and its impact on job satisfaction in the designated public institutions which has been the subject of various researches. The study consists of three main parts. In the first part; definition of organizational citizenship behavior perception, types of organizational citizenship behavior, dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior, factors that affecting organizational citizenship behavior, theories that related with organizational citizenship behavior, raleted concepts with organizational citizenship behavior have been explained. Second part of the study examine the term of job satisfacition, theories that related with job satisfaction, individual and instutional facfactors which effect job satisfaction. In the third part of the study; the relationship between perception of organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction has examined. In order to determine this relationship, a survey was applied on the issue. Research is conducted with Provincial Police, Provincial Health Directorates and revenue offices in the provinces of Van and Bitlis. İn order to measure the impact of employees perception of organizational citizenship behavior on job satisfaction, a survey for that consist of 5 point Likert scale was used. Finally comments are made according to the analyses results and mentioned to the causes that affect the connection with employees perception of organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction and suggestions are made.
