The Flora of Kesan Valley (Bitlis)

Abstract

Kesan Deresi' nde 2003 ve 2005 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen araziçalışmaları ile toplam 1060 bitki örneği toplandı. 67 familya ve 261 cins'e ait 488tür, 69 alttür ve 27 varyete olmak üzere toplam 584 takson tespit edildi. Belirlenentaksonlardan 13 tanesi B9 karesi için yeni kayıttır.ran-Turan fitocoğrafik bölgesinde yer alan çalışma alanında tespit edilentaksonların fitocoğrafik bölgelere göre dağılımı şöyledir: ran - Turan elementi 183(% 31.3), Avrupa-Sibirya elementi 33 (% 5.65), Akdeniz elementi 29 (% 4.95),Öksin elementi 7 (% 1.2), Hirkan-Öksin elementi 5 (% 0.8) ve çok bölgeli veyafitocoğrafik bölgesi bilinmeyenler 327 (% 56)' dir. Alandan toplam 29 (% 5.0)endemik takson belirlenmiştir. 584 taksonun 6'sı Pteridophyta, 578'i Spermatophytaüyesidir. Spermatophyta üyelerinden 1'i Gymnospermae ve 577'si Angiospermaeüyesidir. Angiospermae üyelerinin 492'si Dicotyledonae ve 85'i Monocotyledoneaesınıflarına aittir.çerdikleri takson sayılarına göre alanda en büyük ilk 10 familya sırasıyla;Asteraceae 72 (% 12.3), Fabaceae 65 (% 11.2), Brassicaceae 42 (% 7.2), Lamiaceae37 (% 6.3), Poaceae 34 (% 5.8), Boraginaceae 32 (% 5.5), Liliaceae 30 (% 5.1),Apiaceae 28 (% 4.8), Rosaceae 28 (% 4.8) ve Caryophyllaceae 24 (% 4.2).En çok takson içeren ilk 10 cins sırasıyla; Trifolium 15 (% 2.6), Astragalus10 (% 1.7), Vicia 10 (% 1.7), Veronica 9 (% 1.5), Alyssum 8 (% 1.4), Ranunculus 8(% 1.4), Geranium 8 (% 1.4), Myosotis 7 (% 1.2), Polygonum 7 (% 1.2) veCerastium 7 (% 1.2).Tespit edilen taksonların Raunkiaer hayat formları sistemine göre dağılımışöyledir; Hemikriptofitler 263 (% 45.0), terofitler 162 (% 27.8), kriptofitler 80 (%13.7), kamefitler 44 (% 7.5) ve fanerofitler 35 (% 6.0).Kesan Deresi Florası' nda belirlenen taksonların 11'inde bilinenözelliklerinden farklılık gösteren varyasyonlar ile bazı bilinmeyen özellikleri tespitedilmiştir.Endemik olan taksonların tehlike kategorilerine dağılımları: 3 taksontehlikede ?EN?, 1 takson zarar görebilir ?VU?, 4 takson tehdit altına girebilir ?NT?,21 takson az endişe verici ?LC? şeklindedir.Anahtar kelimeler: Bitlis, Flora, Kesan Deresi, Türkiye.i

The field investigations were carried out in Kesan Valley between the yearsof 2003 and 2005 and 1060 plant specimens were collected. As a result of thetaxonomic investigation of these specimens 488 species, 69 subspecies and 27varieties belonging to 261 genus and 67 families were determined. A total of 584taxa have been collected from the area. Out of these 13 taxa are new records for B9grid square.The distribution of the taxa in phytogeographic regions are as follows: Irano- Turanian 183 (% 31.3), Euro-Siberian 33 (% 5.65), Mediterranean 29 (% 4.95),Euxine 7 (% 1.2), Hyrcano-Euxine 5 (% 0.8) and unknown phytogeographicelements 327 (% 56). Total 29 (% 5.0) endemic species have been collected from thearea. 6 species of the total 584 taxa belong to Pteridophyta division and 578 taxabelong to Spermatophyta division. One of the Spermatophyta taxon belongs toGymnospermae were an 557 taxa belong to Angiospermae. 492 taxa ofAngiospermae are included in Dicotyledoneae and 85 taxa are included inMonocotyledoneae.According to their taxa content, the greatest 10 families are ordered asfollows: Asteraceae 72 (% 12.3), Fabaceae 65 (% 11.2), Brassicaceae 42 (% 7.2),Lamiaceae 37 (% 6.3), Poaceae 34 (% 5.8), Boraginaceae 32 (% 5.5), Liliaceae 30(% 5.1), Apiaceae 28 (% 4.8), Rosaceae 28 (% 4.8) and Caryophyllaceae 24 (% 4.2).The greatest 10 genera are ordered as follows: Trifolium 15 (% 2.6),Astragalus 10 (% 1.7), Vicia 10 (% 1.7), Veronica 9 (% 1.5), Alyssum 8 (% 1.4),Ranunculus 8 (% 1.4), Geranium 8 (% 1.4), Myosotis 7 (% 1.2), Polygonum 7 (%1.2) and Cerastium 7 (% 1.2),When the flora of the area is analysed by Rauinkiaer?s life forms, it is notedthat hemicrytophytes 263 (% 45.0), therophytes 162 (% 27.8), cryptophytes 80 (%13.7), chamaephytes 44 (% 7.5) and phanerophytes 35 (% 6.0).Some undefined features and different variations from knows characters of11 taxa were detemined.The distributions of the endemic taxa according to the red data is a follows:3 taxa in endangered (EN), one taxon in vulnerable (VU), 4 taxa in near threatened(NT), 21 taxa in least concern (LC).Key words: Bitlis, Flora, Kesan Valley, Turkey.iii
