Abstract

86ÖZETHz. Peygamber (s.)'in yolculuklarını hâdislerle, bir bakıma kendi dilindenincelemeye çalıştık. Hayatının önemli bir bölümünü, yolculuğa ayırmış ya daayırmak zorunda kalmıştır. Bir kısmını normal hayatın gerektirdiği koşullarçerçevesinde gerçekleştirirken bir kısmını da inandığı evrensel değerler uğrundayapmıştır. Yolculuklarında birçok sıkıntı yaşamış; ancak başarılarını da bunlarla eldeetmiştir.Peygamberlikten önceki yolculukları onu hayata hazırlamış ve çok sayıdatecrübe kazandırmıştır. Gösterdiği fedakârlık, dürüstlük ve çalışkanlık O'nun gerçekkişiliğini ortaya çıkarmış, etraftan takdir ve beğeni toplamıştır. Bu da Peygamberliksürecine olumlu bir katkı sağlamıştır.Peygamberlikten sonraki hayatında da çok sayıda yolculuk gerçekleştirmiş,bunlarla adım adım özlemini çektiği ve amaçladığı medenû toplumu meydanagetirmeyi başarmıştır. Bunun için hiçbir fedakârlıktan kaçınmamıştır. Hidâyetegetirmek için azgın müşrikler diyarı, Taif'e tek başına gitmiş, örnek bir toplummeydana getirmek için çok sevdiği yurdunu terk etmiş ve bu toplumu korumak,geliştirmek için birçok sıkıntılı yolculuklar gerçekleştirmiştir. Sonunda emanetolarak aldığı görevi tamamlamış ve bu görevi ümmetine tevdi etmiştir.Ayrıca yolculukları sırasında gerek söz gerekse uygulama bazında bizlerebirçok emir, nehiy ve tavsiyelerde bulunmuştur. Bunlar, her zaman olduğu gibiyolculuğun gittikçe önem kazandığı günümüzde de üzerinde durulması ve örnekalınması gereken esaslardır. Bu esaslar dikkate alınarak yapılan yolculuklar hem ferthem de toplum açısından daha da verimli hale gelecektir.

87SUMMARYWe tried to investigate the travels of The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be uponhim) according his hadiths and statements. He spent or had to spend a great part ofhis life in travels. He spent a part of his travels in the frame of normal conditions oflife, and the others for the sake of the universal values which he believes in. He hadmany difficulties during travels but he gained his accomplishments with them.The travels before prophecy, prepared him for life and they helped him togain much experiences. The devotion, honesty and diligence which he had showed,has brought his real personality to light and gained humans' liking. This situation,obtained a positive aid to the process of prophecy.He also practiced many travels after his prophecy, so he, by this, managed toaccomplish to produce civilized society which he had gasp after step by step andwhich he had aimed. He never avoided any devotion for this.In order to create a perfect society he went to Taif where wild pagans live;they attacked and drive him away. For this aim, he left his native country. To protectand improve that society he had many travels. At last he completed the duty andconsigned it to his ummah.In addition, during his travels he gave us lots of verbal and practical orders,prohibitions and advices. These are the bases that should be considered every time,and especially now when traveling gains importance day by day. And these shouldbe taken as example. The travels in which these bases are considered will beprofitable both for individual and society.
