Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the effects of different seeding rates (15, 25, 35 and 45 kg/ha) on yield and yield components of fenugreek in Van ecological conditions in the years of 2002 and 2003. In the study plant height, the number of branch, the number of pod, the number of seeds in the pod, pod length, one thousand seed weight and seed yield were determined. In the study the highest plant height (34,60 cm) was obtained from the 45 kg/ha seeding rate. The number of branch and the number of pod decreased with the higher plant densities. The highest number of branch and pod were observed in the 15 kg/ha seeding rate. The seeding rate of 35 kg/ha gave the highest seed yields (638.3 and 608.6 kg/ha) for first and second year, respectively. yield
