Great sin in Mâtûrîdîsm

Abstract

Büyük günah konusu hicri ilk asırlardan itibaren ortaya çıkmış problemlerden birisidir. İslam tarihinde Cemel ve Sıffin hadiselerinde Müslümanlar arasında yaşanan savaşlar bu problemin ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Büyük günah işleyenlerin iman bakımından ne durumda oldukları ve ahiretteki durumlarının nasıl olacağı ile ilgili tartışmalar oluşmaya başlamıştır. Bu konu ile ilgili olarak Hâricîler büyük günah işleyen kişiyi kâfir kabul etmişlerdir. Mu'tezile mezhebine göre ise büyük günah işleyen ne mümin ne de kâfirdir, bu günahı işleyen kişi fasıktır. Mâtûrîdî ve Eş'arî mezhebleri ise büyük günah işleyen kişiyi mümin kabul etmişlerdir. Tezimizde Mâtûrîdî mezhebinin büyük günaha yaklaşımının nasıl olduğunu açıklamaya çalışacağız. İlk olarak günah ile ilgili kavramsal bilgilere temas edilecektir. Birinci bölümde Kelâm tarihinde büyük günah konusu ele alınacaktır. İkinci bölümde ise Mâtûrîdî âlimlerinin büyük günah işleyen kişinin durumuyla ilgili yaklaşımları izah edilecektir.

The subject of great sin is one of the problems that have emerged since the fırst centuries. The wars between muslims in Cemel and Sıffin events in the history of Islam caused this problem to arise. Discussions have started to arise about the condition of the great sinners in terms of faith and how they will be in the hereafter. Regarding this issue, the Hâricî people accepted the person who committed great sin as an infidel. According to the Mu'tezile sect, neither believer or unbeliever who committed great sin is the person who committed this sin. Mâtûrîdî and Eş'arî sects accepted believers as believers. In our thesis, we wiil try to explain how the Mâtûrîdî sect approached great temptation. First conceptual information about sin will be touched. In the fırst part, the subject of great sin will be discussed. In the second part, the approaches of Mâtûrîdî scholars regarding the situation of the great sinner will be explained.
