The Issue of Trust in Patient-Doctor Relations: Case of Van Public Hospital

Abstract

Doktor-hasta ilişkisinde güven sorunu ?Van Devlet Hastanesi Örneğiadlı bu çalışmanın amacı, gündelik toplumsal yaşamın önemli bir alanını oluşturan ve toplumsal yaşamda giderek daha çok yer işgal etmeye başlayan doktor-hasta ilişkisinde güven sorunun sosyolojik boyutlarını irdelemektir. Araştırma giriş, dört bölüm, sonuç ve değerlendirmeden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde çalışmanın önemine vurguda bulunulmuştur. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde araştırmanın amacı, metot ve tekniğiyle, araştırma evreni, örneklem ve araştırmanın hipotezleri belirtilmiştir. İkinci bölümde araştırmanın kavramsal çerçevesi çizilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Van devlet hastanesi hakkında kısaca bilgi verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde hastalara uygulanan anketlerin bulguları verilmiş ve yorumları yapılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde araştırma sonucunun sosyolojik analizi yapılmıştır.

As the title of the study, the issue of trust in patient-doctor relations: the Case of Van Public Hospital, suggested, the purpose of the thesis is to examine an important public issue, i.e., the issue of health and health service, with particular emphasis on patient-doctor relations. The study consists of an Introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion. In introduction, the definition of problem is discussed through literary survey. In the first chapter, the design of the study, the method and research techniques, size of the sample and hypothesis are decided. In chapter two, the conceptual tools and theoretical framework are selected. Brief information on Van Public Hospital is given in chapter three. Findings of the study are dealt with in chapter four. A brief overall evaluations and suggestions are given in the conclusion
