Flat Weaves Used in Transport in Van-Bahçesaray

Abstract

Dokuma eserler, Anadolu insanının sabrını, acısını, mutluluğunu, hüznünü ve sevincini yansıtan en önemli kültürel öğelerimizden biri olmuştur. Bahçesaray ilçesi genelde coğrafi konumu ve bitki çeşitliliği ile bilinen bir yöredir. İlçe geçmişten bugüne değin kültürel ve geleneksel değerlerini kaybetmeden koruyan nadir yöreler arasında yer almaktadır. Bahçesaray ve köylerinde tespit edilen düz dokumalarda kullanılan motif, kompozisyon, teknik ve renk bölgenin yöresel özelliklerini taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise sadece taşımada kullanılan düz dokumalar ele alınmıştır. Yörede dokunan ve taşımada kullanılan ürünler arasında; heybe, çanta (torba), tuzluk, parzun, semer, çuval, at çulu, ip ve kolanlar bulunmaktadır. Söz konusu ürünlerin günümüzde kullanımı azalmıştır. Bu dokuma ürünlerin ana malzemesini yün oluşturmaktadır. Dokumalarda kullanılan renkler yörenin coğrafi şartları ve bitki çeşitliliğinden dolayı doğal yollarla elde edilmiştir. En fazla kullanılan renkler; kırmızı, bordo, lacivert, kahverengi, siyah ve kremdir. Ayrıca yeşil, sarı, beyaz ve mavi renkleri ise ara renk olarak kullanılmıştır. Dokuma ürünlerde çoğunlukla çiçek, çengel, tarak, suyolu, akrep, muska, eli belinde, keçi izi, göz ve küpe motifleri yer almıştır. Bu örneklerde kilim, cicim ve düz dokuma teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Bazı örneklerde ise halı tekniğinin dokumaların ön yüzünde tercih edildiği görülmektedir. Bahçesaray yöresinde taşıma için üretilen dokuma ürünler, teknolojik gelişmelere bağlı olarak artan ve temini kolay olan fabrikasyon ürünlerin varlığı nedeniyle, her geçen gün önemini ve değerini kaybederek unutulmaya yüz tutmuştur. Woven works have been one of our cultural elements that reflect the patience, pain, happiness, sadness and joy of the Anatolian people. Bahçesaray district is generally known for its geographical location and plant diversity. The district is also among the rare regions that have preserved their cultural and traditional values from the past to the present. The motif, composition, technique and color used in flat weavings found in Bahçesaray and its villages bear the regional characteristics of the region. In this study, only plain weavings used in transportation are discussed. Among the products woven in the region and used in transportation; There are saddlebags, bags, salt shakers, parzun, saddles, sacks, horse sacks and girths. The use of these products has decreased today. The main material of these woven products is wool. The colors used in weaving were obtained naturally due to the geographical conditions and plant diversity of the region. The most used colors; red, burgundy, navy blue, brown, black and cream. In addition, green, yellow, white and blue colors were used as intermediate colors. Flower, hook, comb, waterway, scorpion, amulet, elibelinde, goat print, eye and earring motifs were mostly used in woven products. In these examples, kilim, cicim and plain weaving techniques are used. In some examples, it is seen that carpet weaving is preferred on the front faces. The woven products produced for transportation in the Bahçesaray region, due to the existence of fabricated products that are increasing due to technological developments and are easy to obtain, have lost their importance, effect and value day by day and have been forgotten. With the hope that these works, which are about to disappear, will be transferred to the next generations by making documentation work...
