İliç and the Surrounding Architectural Works of Turkish Period

Abstract

Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinin Yukarı Fırat Bölümünde yer alan ve Erzincan?a bağlı şirin ilçelerinden biridir İliç. Osmanlı Dönemi?nde Kemaliye (Eğin)?e bağlı nahiye iken Cumhuriyet Döneminde 1939 yılında çıkarılan kararnameyle ilçe merkezi haline getirilir.Yüksek Lisans Tezi çalışma konusu olan İliç ve Çevresindeki Türk Dönemi Mimari Eserleri kapsamında İliç ilçe merkezi ve çevresindeki köylerinde bulunan camiler, evler, kamu binaları, çeşmeler çalışılmıştır.Yapılan araştırma sonucunda, 21 adet kültür varlığı tespit edilmiştir. Bunlardan 7 tanesi cami, 3 tane kamu binası, 4 tane ev ve 7 tane çeşmedir.Çalışmanın ilk aşamasında bilgi ve belge toplanmaya çalışılmış ve elde edilen kaynaklar çerçevesinde yerinde inceleme yapılmıştır. 2011 ve 2012 yılında arazi çalışması tamamlanmış ve tespit edilen kültür varlıklarına ait çizimleri yapılmış ve fotoğraflanmıştır. Daha sonra İliç?in kısaca coğrafi konumu ve tarihçesi anlatılmıştır. Yapılar katalog bölümünde tek tek ele alınarak ayrıntılı olarak anlatılmıştır. Yapılar anlatıldıktan sonra değerlendirme kısmına geçilmiş ve tespit edilen kültür varlıkları kendi içinde ve bölgedeki diğer yapılarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Yapıların genel tarifi ve özellikleri bahsedilerek varılan sonuç açıklanmıştır. Şimdiye kadar Sanat Tarihi açısından araştırılmayan İliç ve çevresindeki mimari eseler bu çalışmayla bilim dünyasına tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır.

İliç is one of the charming township of the Erzincan and it is located in the Upper Euphrates, part of the Eastern Anatolia Region. In the Ottoman period, it was only a township of Kemaliye (Eğin) but it has been a district center in the Republican period with a decree issued in 1939.Within the scope of the master thesis ?İliç and the surrounding architectural Works of Turkish Period? the mosques, houses, public buildings and fountains in İliç distict center and its surrounding villages was studied.As a result of the research 7 mosques, 3 puplic buildings, 4 houses and 7 fountains of a total 21 cultural assets was determined.In the first stage of the study information and dokuments gathered and within the framework of the obtained sources on-site investigation has been mode. In 2011 and 2012 the field Work was completed and the identified cultural assets were drawn adn photographed. After briefly explaining the geopraphical position and history of İliç, the structures was described in detail by one by in the catolog part. In the evaluartion section the general definition and characteristics of the structures was mentioned and the identifien cultural assets compared in itself and with the other structues in the region the obtained results was explained.The study was concluded by compaiing the architectural Works in İliç and its villages which hasn?t been handled seriously until now in terms of Art History.
