Abstract
Sinema, dünya pazarında kendine yer edindiği günden şimdiye kadar estetik, kültürel, düşünsel ve toplumsal alanları etkilemeyi sürdürmektedir. Her filmin; kültürün ve zihniyetin taşıyıcısı olduğu düşünüldüğünde sinema, toplumsal zihniyetle ilgili en fazla ilişkilendirilebilecek kültürel, ulusal, geleneksel kodlara ve göstergelere sahiptir. Zihniyetin kendisini yeniden görünür kıldığı sinemadaki popüler film türlerinin başlarında ise komedi türü gelmektedir. Zihniyet ve kültürün sinemadaki temsil ve aktarıcısı, yönetmen ve senaristin ürettiği filmler vasıtasıyla seyirciye aktarılır. Komedi filmlerinde karakterlerin kültürel ve toplumsal dokusu zihniyetle ilişkilidir. Özellikle pazar hâsılatı ve kitlenin yoğun ilgisi düşünüldüğünde, 2000 sonrası Türk komedi film türünde toplumsal zihniyete dair birbirinden farklı kültürel kavramlar görülmektedir. Filmlerin, kültür ve zihniyet aktarıcısı olduğu, belli toplumların toplumsal gerçeği ve zihniyet kalıplarının film karakterleri üzerinden yeniden perdeye yansıtılır. Komedi filmlerindeki karakterlerin belli davranış ve düşence eylemleri, sinemanın zihniyetle ilişkilendirilebilecek alanlardır. Recep İvedik, Eltilerin Savaşı, Kara Bela, Deliha filmlerinin betimsel analizle sinema ve zihniyet ilişkisi ekseninde çözümlenmeye çalışıldığı bu tez çalışmasında, söz konusu kültürel kavramlardan armağan ve potlaç, rekabet, onur, prestij, meydan okuma, utanç, kıskançlık, aşağılanma belirtileri, altta kalmama vb. temel referans kavramlar üzerinden incelenmektedir.
Cinema has been influencing aesthetic, cultural, intellectual, and social fields since it gained a place in the world market. Considering that every film is the carrier of the culture and mentality, cinema has cultural, national, traditional codes and indicators that can be most associated with social mentality. Comedy is one of the cinema's most famous film genres, where mentality makes itself visible again. The representation and transmission of the mentality and culture in cinema is transferred to the audience through the films produced by the director and screenwriter. In comedy films, the cultural and social fabric of the characters is related to mentality. Especially considering the market revenue and the intense interest of the audience, different cultural concepts related to social mentality that are seen in the post-2000 Turkish comedy film genre. Films are transmitters of the culture and mentality, and certain societies' social reality and mentality patterns that are reflected on the screen through film characters. Certain behaviours and thoughts of the characters in comedy films can be associated with the cinema mentality. In this thesis study, the films 'Recep İvedik', 'Eltilerin Savaşı', 'Kara Bela', and 'Deliha' are analyzed on the axis of the relationship between cinema and mentality through descriptive analysis, the cultural concepts of 'gift' and 'Potlach' (potlaç), 'competition', 'honour', 'prestige', 'challenge', 'shame', 'jealousy', 'signs of the humiliation', 'not being inferior' etc. are examined through basic reference concepts.
