Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, geleneksel çocuk oyunlarının okul öncesi çocukların sosyal duygusal iyi oluş ve psikolojik sağlamlığı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön test, son test ve kalıcılık testi kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışma okul öncesi eğitimden faydalanan 21'i deney 21'i kontrol olmak üzere 42 okul öncesi çocuğuyla yürütülmüştür. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of traditional children's games on preschool children's social emotional well-being and psychological resilience. The research used experimental design with pre-test, post-test and retention test control group from quantitative research methods. The study was conducted with 42 preschool children, 21 of whom were experimental and 21 of whom were control. A pre-test was applied to the experimental and control groups before the implementation of the traditional children's games programme and a post-test was applied to both groups after the end of the implementation. One month after the end of the post-tests, a retention test was applied to the experimental group. SPSS.21 package programme was used for data analysis. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test and Mann-Whitney U anda A One-Faktör Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) tests were used as non-parametric methods since the number of participants in the study was less than 30 on a group basis. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the traditional children's games programme positively affected the social emotional wellbeing and psychological resilience of preschool children in favour of the experimental group. As a result of the retention test, it was concluded that the posttest scores of the experimental group did not make a significant difference compared to the retention test scores and the effectiveness of the application continued Keywords: Traditional play, Well-being, Psychological resilience, Preschool.
