Religious Education for Individuals With Special Needs
Abstract
Bir literatür taraması olan 'Özel Gereksinimli Bireylerde Din Eğitimi' konulu tez çalışması özel gereksinimli bireylerin hayatında din ve din eğitiminin yeri ve önemini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Özel gereksinimli bireylerde din eğitimiyle ilgili ulaşılabilen çalışmalarda tüm özel gereksinim türlerine dair geniş bir perspektifin olmayışı böyle bir araştırma konusunun seçilmesine zemin hazırlamıştır. Özel gereksinimli bireylere yönelik din eğitiminin araştırıldığı bu tez, giriş ve dört ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümününde kapsam, problem, amaç ve önem ortaya konmuş ve araştırma yönteminden bahsedilmiştir. Birinci bölümde din eğitimi bilimi ve özel gereksinimli bireylere dair kuramsal tanımlamalara yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde özel eğitim ve din eğitimi bilimlerinin multidisipliner birlikteliğini ortaya koyan bir yaklaşım sergilenmiştir. Ayrıca bu bölümde özel eğitim ve din eğitimi alanlarında uzman olan eğitimcinin varlığıyla ilgili detaylar ve bahsi geçen uzman eğitimcinin varlığının özel gereksinimli bireylere katkıları ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde İslam'ın temel kaynaklarında özel gereksinimli bireylerin durumu incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise özel gereksinimli bireylerde din eğitimi geniş bir perspektif dâhilinde ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ortaya çıkan teorik bilgi, ayrıntılı bir şekilde irdelenerek değerlendirilmiş ve özel gereksinimli bireylerde din eğitimine dair sorunlara cevaplar aranmaya gayret edilmiştir. Elde edilen teorik bilgiler ışığında özel gereksinimli bireylerde din eğitimi nasıl olmalıdır ana sorunu altında bütün alt sorunlara dair gerekli önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Bu bağlamda özellikle değinilmesi gereken en önemli sonuç özel gereksinimli bireylerin özel gereksinim alanları dikkate alınarak, özel gereksinim alanlarına özgü araç-gereç-materyallerle desteklenmiş eğitim ortamında özel eğitim ve din eğitimi formasyonu almış uzman tarafından eğitilmesinin bir gereklilik olduğu sonucudur.
The thesis study on 'Religious Education for Individuals with Special Needs', which is a literature review, aims to investigate the place and importance of religion and religious education in the lives of individuals with special needs. The absence of a broad perspective on all types of special needs in accessible studies on religious education in individuals with special needs paved the way for the selection of such are search topic. This thesis, in which religious education for individuals with special needs is researched, consists of an introduction and four main chapters. In the introduction part, the scope, problem, purpose and importance were presented and the research method was mentioned. In the first part, the science of religious education and theoretical definitions of individuals with special needs were given. In the second part, an approach that reveals the multidisciplinary unity of special education and religious education sciences was demonstrated. In addition, in this section, details about the presence of educators who are experts in special education and religious education and the contributions of the expert educator to individuals with special needs were discussed. In the third chapter, the situation of individuals with special needs in the basic sources of Islam was examined. In the fourth part, religious education in individuals with special needs was tried to be dealt with in a broad perspective. The theoretical knowledge that emerged as a result of the research was examined and evaluated in detail, and it was tried to find answers to the problems of reli-gious education in individuals with special needs. In the light of the obtained theoretical information, necessary suggestions were made on all subproblems under the main question of how religious education should be for individuals with special needs. In this context, the most important result that should be mentioned is that it is a necessity for individuals with special needs to be trained by specialists who have received special education and religious education formation in an educational environment supported by tools and materials specific to special needs areas, considering their special needs areas.
