Khalidi madrasah tradition and Norshin Madrasah

Abstract

Norşin Medresesi, yüzkırk yılı aşkın bir süreden beri bulunduğu bölgeyi birçok yönden etkilemiş ve etkilemeye devam etmektedir. Çalışmamızın amacı, Nakşî-Halidî Medrese geleneğine bağlı birçok din âlimi yetiştiren ve günümüzde de bu fonksiyonu yerine getirmeyi sürdüren bu medresenin daha yakından tanınmasına katkı sunmaktır. Çalışmamızda öncelikle Norşin Medresesi'nin kaynaklık eden Hâlidîlik ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra Medresenin tarihi, milli mücadeleye katkıları, müderrisleri, eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleri, bölgeye katkısı, bölgedeki diğer medreselere etkisi, buradan yetişen âlimler gibi konular ele alınmıştır. Çalışmamızda nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme ve gözlem tekniği kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca medreseyi değişik yönleri ile ele alan tez ve makalelerden yararlanılmıştır. 1875 yılında kurulan ve günümüzde de faaliyetini sürdüren Norşin Medresesi, ilköğretimi bitirmiş birçok talebe ile eğitim faaliyetlerini geleneğe bağlı olarak modern binalarda sürdürmektedir. Çalışmamız neticesinde, Norşin Medresesi'nin yasal zeminden yoksun olması, mezunlarının resmi olarak herhangi bir göreve alınmaması, İmam Hatip Okullarının yaygınlaşması ile medreseye olan talebin azalması gibi sorunlara rağmen, burada eğitim faaliyetlerine devam edildiği tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of our work is to contribute to be known closer the Norshin Madrasah, which is bound to the traditions of Nakshi-Khalidi Madrasah, which has been forming the region for more than 140 years in different aspects and raises religious scholars and continues this function. Firstly, It is focused on Khalidism which sources the Norsin Madrasah. Then, the history of the Madrasah, contribution to the National Struggle, professors, educational activities, contribution to the region, influences over the other madrasahs in the region, scholars who are raised here are examined. Unstructured observation technique, one of the qualitative research technique, is used in this work. Besides, thesis and essays are examined, which covers the subject in different aspects. Norshin Madrasah was established in 1875 and still continues working in modern buildings with the students who finished the primary schools, which are bound to the traditions. In conclusion, It is determined that Norshin Madrasah continues the education activities despite of the lack of law and legal background, employment problems of the graduates in official intuitions, dissemination and wide-spread of Imam Hatip (Religious) Schools and decrease of interest to the Madrasah.
