Abstract
In this thesis, general cleaning wet wipes in the market were examined and a wipe study was carried out on the basic ingredient chemicals, which are widely used, with optimization parameters. By making general definitions of the chemicals present in the content, the purpose of use and structural suitability of the raw materials used were evaluated, they were turned into solutions respectively in the study and applied to dry fabrics by drip method. As a result of this application, pH and microbiological analyzes were made on the products, and the suitability of the products that would not deteriorate during the shelf life of the products were tested at the level to be supplied to the market. Response Surface Method (RSM) was applied to determine the optimum operating conditions. Experimental design used in Design Expert 12.0.0. program created using the program. Central Composite Design (CCD) was applied to determine the optimum operating conditions. ANOVA analysis was used to examine the interaction between the response and independent variables and the data obtained. Design Expert 12.0.0. Using the CCD program, thirty different parameter results were presented, and solutions were created by performing wet wipe solution studies with these results. The data of these solutions were recorded and the three-dimensional (3D) grapHics created in CCD were interpreted. This study shows that RSM may be a suitable method for the optimization of wet wipe solution parameters.
