Content in the Poetry of Cahiliyyah and Islamic Period: Religious and Society

Abstract

Câhiliye ve İslâm dönemindeki dinî ve toplumsal hayatı ele alan şiirleri ortaya koymaya çalıştığımız bu çalışma giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında, Câhiliye ve İslâm dönemi edebiyatı ana hatlarıyla ele alınmış, şiirin Arap toplumundaki önemi ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Birinci bölümde, Câhiliye ve İslâm dönemindeki dinî motif ve kavramları içeren şiirler analiz edilerek dini hayatın şiirdeki tezahürleri ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca Hz. Peygamber'in şiire karşı yaklaşımı ve bazı Müslüman şairlerin hayatı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise Câhiliye ve İslâm dönemindeki toplumsal hayatın şiire yansımasını ortaya koymak amacıyla Araplarda ailevî hayat, idarî yapı, kabileler arası ilişkiler, toplumda övülen ve yerilen davranışlar, kadının sosyal hayattaki yeri ve toplumda yaygın olan eğlence unsurlarını konu edinen bazı şiirler ele alınmıştır. This study we have tried to put forward poems which speaks of social poetry and religious in the pre-Islamic era and Islamic world consists of introduction and two chapters. In the introduction has been dealing outline of pre-Islamic literature and Islamic world, and then clarify the importance of poetry in the Arab community. In the first chapter, it has been put forward poetry which includes religious terms in an era of pre-Islamic and Islamic world by analyzing and shown manifestations of religious life in poetry. Also, information is given about Prophet's attitude towards poetry and the lives of some of the poets Muslims. In the second chapter, some poets that containing Family life among the Arabs, administrative structures, inter-tribal relations, praised and reviled behaviors in the community, the place of women in social life and entertainment elements that are common in society has dealt in order to show the reflection of the social life in Islamic era to poetry.
