Abstract

Incompletely transmitted [mursal] hadiths of Abu Hurayrah, who has been discussed at most in the history of hadith, are considered in a context of that he was a liar or a trustworthy person. However it will lessen the number of Abu Hurayrah's relatings and the criticizings about him to consider the matter around the reasons which cause his relatings abundant. Because of determining the incompletely transmitted hadiths is important, it is looked for some clues show how this determining must be done. There are three clues: hadiths transmitted from two or more narrators, the relatings of Abu Hurayrah about events occured before the conquest of Khaybar and the moods of relating.
