Thinking Education in Ahmet Mithat's Journalism

Abstract

Ahmet Mithat, Türk kültür ve edebiyatının önemli isimlerinden biridir. Onun eserleri hakkında pek çok çalışma yapılmış ve edebiyat başta olmak üzere sosyoloji, felsefe, eğitim açısından eserleri incelenmiştir. Ancak eserleri düşünme eğitimi açısından incelenmemiştir. Ahmet Mithat, Türkiye'de çağdaş felsefe çalışmalarının başlatılması konusunda öncü isimlerden biridir. Bu nedenle onun özellikle felsefi nitelikteki denemelerinin ve makalelerinin art arda yayımlandığı dergilerinin düşünme eğitimi yönüyle incelenmesi ve analiz edilmesi gerekirdi. Bu çalışma böyle bir ihtiyaca karşılık gelmek üzere yapılmıştır.

Ahmet Mithat is one of the important figures of Turkish culture and literature. Many studies have been conducted on his Works and his Works have been analyzed in terms of literature, sociology, philosophyand education. However, his works have not been analyzed in terms of thinking education. Ahmet Mithat is one of the pioneers in the initiation of modern philosophical studies in Turkey. For this reason, his journals, in which his philosophical essays and articles were published one after another, should have been examined and analyzed in terms of thinking education. This study was conducted in response to such a need.
