Teachers' Opinions About Classical Guitar Education in Özengen Music Education Institutions (osmaniye Province Case Study)
Abstract
Bu araştırma, Osmaniye ilinde faaliyet gösteren özengen müzik eğitimi kurumlarındaki klasik gitar öğretimine yönelik öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemeyi hedeflemektedir. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda özengen müzik eğitimi kurumlarında çalışan öğretmenlerin klasik gitar öğretiminde kullandıkları yöntem ve tekniklerin; öğretim materyalleri ile ölçme ve değerlendirme yöntemlerinin neler olduğunun yanı sıra öğretmenlerin klasik gitar öğretiminde karşılaştıkları sorunlar ile sorunların çözümüne ilişkin önerilerin neler olduğu üzerine yoğunlaşılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında gitarın tarihi, yapısı ve çeşitli çalma tekniklerini detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş olup alan yazında gerçekleştirilen ilgili çalışmaların bulguları ve sonuçları doğrultusunda bu araştırmanın bulgu ve sonuçları desteklenmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomolojik desen kullanılmış olup yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile Osmaniye ilinde bulunan özengen müzik eğitimi kurumlarında görev yapan 10 öğretmenin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Görüşmeler sonucu elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiş olup bulgular tablolaştırılarak doğrudan alıntılar ile sunulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonuçları olarak öğretmenlerin kullandıkları yöntem ve teknikler bağlamında teknik geliştirme ve müziksel ifade; öğretim materyalleri bağlamında kitaplar ve notlar, ölçme ve değerlendirme yöntemleri bağlamında performans değerlendirmesi ile yazılı ve sözlü testler tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin karşılaştıkları sorunlar olarak devamsızlık sorunu ile süreklilik olmaması ortaya koyulmakla birlikte öğretmenlerin karşılaştıkları sorunların çözümü için çağdaş eğitim materyallerinin kullanımı ile dijital kaynakların entegrasyonu belirtilmiştir.
This research aims to determine teachers' opinions about classical guitar teaching in self-centered music education institutions operating in Osmaniye. In line with the purpose of the research, the methods and techniques used by teachers working in private music education institutions in teaching classical guitar; It focuses on the teaching materials and measurement and evaluation methods, as well as the problems that teachers encounter in teaching classical guitar and the suggestions for solving the problems. Within the scope of the research, the history, structure and various playing techniques of the guitar were examined in detail, and the findings and results of this research were supported in line with the findings and results of relevant studies carried out in the literature. In the research, phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used and the opinions of 10 teachers working in prestigious music education institutions in Osmaniye were consulted with a semi-structured interview form. The data obtained as a result of the interviews were analyzed with content analysis and the findings were tabulated and presented with direct quotations. As the results of the research, technical development and musical expression in the context of the methods and techniques used by teachers; books and notes in the context of teaching materials; In the context of measurement and evaluation methods, performance evaluation and written and oral tests were determined. In addition, the problem of absenteeism and lack of continuity are revealed as the problems faced by teachers, and the use of contemporary educational materials and the integration of digital resources are stated to solve the problems faced by teachers.
